Eliza has paddled in the sea (and threw a strop when she had to come out, the little madam!) and Dobby is in doggy heaven. A beautiful wide beach and no one but them on it. Loads of fresh air and no stress; it will do the whole family good.
I asked yesterday but you mustn't have seen it - whereabouts are they staying? We're heading up there tomorrow....in fact Tom's there now but as you say it's very windy (as it is here) and I'm a right wuss when it's wild and we're at the caravan, it moves a lot and I feel a bit seasick, so I declined to go with him but will join him there tomorrow. It's lovely and sunny and quite warm, but - windy!! He had a problem this morning when the car had to have attention....he had to get the Green Flag out and now it's booked into a garage in Alnwick tomorrow
It's been making a squealing noise for a few weeks now, I did mention a few times for him to get it checked out, but his mantra is - the engine management light hasn't come on so it's fine
I've had a lovely peaceful day and night (last night) - just went for a walk and sat outside after for a latte and a scone - lovely!!! Then last night binge watched lots of Mad Men....today haven't done a lot but just faffed, it's too windy to have a pleasant walk so I've stayed home, getting ready for tomorrow
