Fire season is upon us
There have been quite a few big ish fires in the country, but by heck, they are throwing everything at them
There is a huge fire about 45 minutes drive from us, down the IC1 and there are 11 - yes, eleven - aircraft on it, as well as over 300 firefighters.
Because we lost so many lives three years ago, because of stupidity and ignorance, as well as too many people not knowing what to do, there is now a national body who oversee everything and they're really sorting it out.
All we need to do now is lock up the morons who light them.
Some are accidental, some are done by ignorance and poverty (too poor to pay for some-one to clean the land) and some are done on purpose. Usually by arsonists or by the people who own the planes, to fight the fires. They used to get paid a shedload per fire. All sorts of skullduggery and backhanders
