Well my day took a different turn, as when I rang D this morning she told me she'd fallen over - yesterday  - and had a massive bruise on her chin! :( I went up there to check, despite her insisting she was ok! She's absolutely fine, apart from the bruise. She'd been walking through the front door, to go and pull up a few weeds from the front flower bed, when a massive gust of wind blew the door wide open behind her, pushing her over :( Thank God it wasn't a broken arm, or worse still a hip :?

Blue Moon Jan. I'm completely up to date after this one. His next novel The Sentinal is due to be released late October. Much as I'm keen to get it, I'll wait a while for the kindle version go down in price.

I'm glad D is OK Kaz. It must have been the weekend for accidents. One of MrsC's multifarious elderly aunts fell in the bath tub and couldn't get out. She was there all night. The water drained out and when her daughter and grandson turned up (they had to break in) she was still in the bath, as white as a sheet. She's currently in Dewsbury hospital but will be out shortly.

Oh blimey Kaz, hope D is doing okay. A fall at her age will certainly shake her up.

And poor aunt too Crommers

Jen, we're stuck here, as we can't get any up to date books. The library have promised me more "new" English books, but that was last year
