Good evening - overcast here and threatening rain so we're not going out for an evening stroll.

Sorry to read of your loss, Jo. :(
Pleased to read you can now progress your care home plans, Crommers.
Hope the haircut went ok, Jenni ....

No real news to report - Master O is planning to visit next month depending on his work schedules. He will come alone because he wants to reclaim a load of computer equipment we have in storage for him, and he has also said he'll take my model railway off my hands! :D

On our last Baking Day, Ossie got distracted and did a "King Alfred" on the rock cakes. It's amazing how much difference just one extra minute in the oven can make ..... :| The good news is that Mrs O has decreed that the singed end-product can only be used for "own consumption", and as SiL is coming for afternoon tea tomorrow, a second batch had to be baked today to serve up with the strawberries and scones. I now have a goodly supply to see me through the rest of the week!

So sorry about your sad news Jo xx

Thankfully my appointment went very well. My hairdresser has really embraced the knew normal, couldn't fault anything. It's really lovely to feel more me again :D I'm booked in again in 6 weeks time, just have to hope she doesn't become complacent.
