Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2020, 05:17

Good morning.

Beyond hot.

The twins tipped up Friday night (super surprise and will post on another thread :D :D ) which made me completely forget to come on here yesterday.

Off for a walk in a mo, back for a swim and apart from watching Friday's Masterchef my plans are to be an extremely lazy Suzy. My eyes won't be though....there's reading to be done.

We're going to nip out early doors for a cold pint and bring back a takeaway roasted chicken. Too hot to cook.....that's my excuse.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Warm already and will be rather warm later 8-)

Watering done and after coffee we're going into Ourique for Grumpy to get his prescription, as our doc has still not sent one through. Rather peed off with her and will tell her so when she comes back from holiday.

Back home to breakfast and I'm stupid enough to cook tonight and tomorrow. Then it will be cold stuff, which we'll get when we go shopping.

Apart from that, same as Ally, pool and reading.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two; morning everyone

Well, skies are blue and the sun in shining, but definitely won't use the word hot over here :D :D :D But it will warm up as the day goes on. But definitely no where near pool weather

I'm off to the allotment this morning and will be there for a good few hours. So a very peaceful morning for me - it's so lovely and quiet there.
Managed to get the hedges cut yesterday so that's always a bonus and also got some additional cat proofing done. But today my arms hurt from the hedge cutting yesterday - it's definitely a totally different set of muscles that's used.

This afternoon will be more pootling at home; so a lazy day really

Have a good one everyone x

Got the prescription :Hi: :Hi: He also got a rake of blood tests to have and also heart check up  The problem is with her computer, she did the prescription and it still didn't come through, so she's having it checked tomorrow.

And I have to ring her tomorrow, apparently

Good morning all, it’s sunny and a lovely temperature here.

Bill’s had his walk and now we’re finally about to start painting the fence. The weekends and the fence haven’t been dry enough since we got the paint at the end of May.

Toad in the hole for dinner and then Tom’s off to see Shannon.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Lovely bright sunshine here 8-)

Did a bit of gardening yesterday. It's the garden again today, but this time we'll be sitting and enjoying this lovely weather. Roast chicken and salad later for dinner, chocolate blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, nice weather here although it has clouded over a bit now. We had another lovely walk this morning, 6.85km, and some stretches where we met nobody, which was great. I think a little nap in the chair might happen ;) Risotto for dinner.

We've had a walk along to Alnmouth, it's a couple of miles each way on the beach, and we met our Lewis there - he's here with a school pal and his mum and gran - we knew he was coming with them and had arranged to meet up. We saw a familiar face whilst chatting, Robson Green walked by with I'm guessing his mum (an older lady, who he held hands with) and a younger lady - his wife?) Nobody was bothering them even though the beach was pretty busy for Alnmouth! We sat with pal's mum for half an hour or so and then left them to it - we walked into the village and had a toasted teacake and a coffee, and then a slow walk back - I've done more than 12k steps so Have been laid on the decking reading in the sunshine. Perfect.

Enjoy your afternoon tea Saundra!

Have a good rest of day xxx

Good afternoon everybody.

It has been sunny with a few clouds. Went to Waitrose this morning. A small queue as we arrived. Everybody had gone in by the time we had got a trolley and got to the entrance.
Only time we have been to a Waitrose store is when we went to Kent to see our grand-daughter.
Have been weeding this afrernoon. Still some more to do at the back.

Still some of the fence to paint. Will go to B & Q on Wednesday as I have no more paint left.
Have a good d ay everybody.
