Well it sounds like a good start anyway Ria 8-) :)

Crommers, that's really good news! I hope he settled in soon, and that you and Mrs C can soon get that break away :) xx

Mitchell came up this afternoon, for a socially distanced beer or six   And a wine

It's too hot to sit outside, so we all sat around the dining table, chatting and gossiping. Did him some good, he does get down, a little, being on his own.

We're having a really hot week, with more to come. This is when I wish we had air-con. I might move into the Romba in Ourique ;)

Well that day flew by! I was on the waitlist for a place at the gym (classes now only 5 people instead of 12) and was delighted to get a place at fairly short notice. It was my first class in over four months and I really enjoyed it.

This afternoon, I brought the car to get the tyre pressure checked as we are going to Wicklow for the day tomorrow to see Miss Osc and family at their summer home. The guy doing it thought I might have a puncture as the pressure was so low in one tyre, so I had to wait while they checked it. Thankfully, they said there was no puncture. When I got home, we did our online grocery shop, after which I finished the ironing. Really looking forward to our day out tomorrow, it is such a long time since we went anywhere. That is excellent news, Crommers, it may take a little time for your FIL to settle, but I’m sure he will. You and MrsC deserve a really good break.
