Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 15 Jul 2020, 04:17

Good morning. :D

I'll be saying this same word till late September....but I'll say it anyway. Hot.

Off for a walk in a few mins, back for a swim then getting ready to walk into town to our outdoor Wednesday market. :D I fancy getting a load of summer fruits...the cherries look particularly plump and I adore nectarines. :D

We'll have a coffee and pitufo when we're out too. :D

Back to laze by the pool but will more than likely be in it than out it.

We have a chicken for dinner that I can just bung in the oven to have with salad. Easy peasy.

Repair Shop and Masterchef tonight.

Have a great day.

Hope your f-i-l was OK on his first night in his new home Crommers. xx

Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

Warm here too 8-)

Off to Ourique early this morning, to do the normal run around 8-) before breakfast too

Analysis place to see if we need to make an appointment, hardware shop for something Grumpy wanted, Alentejana if they're open, then the Chinese, chemist and Pingo. Pit stop for a coffee on the way back.

After breakfast, it'll be the pool or maybe before

No cooking for me for the next few days - we've in the 40's every day this week - so I'll buy a cooked chicken and a quiche, which will keep us going for a few days. I'll cope with the steamer, that can be done outside ;)

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning Ally, Saundra and Jan

Saundra, I agree - hot sounds lovely; July definitely hasn't been a warm month, has it

Ally, the market sounds lovely. Assume all the fruit there is grown in Spain or do you import?
Jan, hope you get everything done before it gets too hot

More tidying and general pootling inbetween working for me. Managed to sell a few things on a local sale page yesterday; two items collected yesterday and three to be collected noon today. I've also put a few gardening books on but no takers for those sadly. They're expensive hardback RHS books and it would be quite nice to get a couple of pounds for them if at all possible. Deep clean of the lounge planned for today - now that I finally can move in there and see the floor

The weather is rather iffy here - woke up to sunshine and blue skies but now rather overcast and looks like it wants to rain, but none has been forecast.

Crommers, as Ally said - hope FiL was OK last night? Must be so confusing for him.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all, it’s dull and cool here and was a bit drizzly when we went for our morning walk.

The Tesco delivery has been and now I’m waiting for some items from Amazon, they’re supposed to be here early afternoon according to their tracker but that usually changes as the day goes on.

Hope all was well with your father in law last night Crommers.

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny here 8-)

Like the sound of your day Ally.
Hope FIL had a good night Crommers.

Much better weather today, not sure what we're doing yet. I might have a potter in the garden later, don't think Ed's up to going out yet.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Well, I'm pleased to report that the lounge is now officially clean and tidy. The sofa's and a large chest have been pulled from the walls and the rug has been lifted so the entire lounge floor has been vacuumed and steam mopped. Shelves dusted, picture frames dusted, door dusted.... I declare it clean!

The dining area however now looks like a war zone :D but from here it's manageable; either under the bed for storage, into the shed or in the bin ;-)

Afternoon all :)

Zumba first thing, then housework, then a walk out to get a paper and some flowers. My cousin's daughter K, the girl whose wedding we went to in February, had a beautiful baby boy last night, they've named him Eddie after my dad's late brother, her grandad, which is very sweet :) I've just arranged some flowers and a card via Moonpig :) I might pop a photo on the photo board later :)

Crommers, I hope your FiL is settling in xxx

Love to all :) xx
