Well apparently our time on the waiting list expires in 2050 so I’ve got time to ponder it

Afternoon all, it’s been dull all day here but not cold, rain forecast for later. We went for a long walk this morning, mainly to have a look at a house on which Miss Osc and SIL have made an offer, which is about 4km away. We had a good look around the estate, it’s in a nice small estate, checked out local shortcuts to buses etc. Then we walked home by a different route, so walked just under 10km in the end. I was pretty tired when we got home  especially as I didn’t sleep very well last night, so a little snooze was had in my chair after lunch ;) I had left washing on the line overnight, and managed to get it in, but any ironing ain’t going to happen!

Sorry to have gone AWOL - my laptop hasn't been very well (well it has, it's me that isn't techy and needed help!) which I have now had, (thank you WM!!) :D fingers crossed it's all fine now!!

We have a lovely day here today - I've been to work (booo!!!) first Saturday in for MONTHS!!! And nothing to do - typical. We have a new appointment system now where every person crossing the threshold has to have an appt, even for a collection or a repair. So I had two of those, and that's it. What a waste of time - three and a half hours of sitting :( So this aft I have been out to The Range and Lidl for supplies, with home made mask - and am now home.

To backtrack slightly I had the BEST day on Thursday!! 8-) My friends from Aquafit had arranged to meet up in Durham with me, not seen each other since Feb, and it was also to celebrate our big days, as Anne has her 60th this coming Monday, so we swapped gifts and had a few cuppas and a nice scone each. It POURED down all day, we were sat in the Champagne Bar in their conservatory so was very private, only us there most of the time. Afterwards, I went to my sister's and then almost forgot I had a hair appointment at 4.30 so dashed out for that.

Yesterday we had the kids! First time in for ever.....went to Roseberry Topping and bless her Lily went to the very top (and Lewis of course but I didn't think Lily would make it).

Chinese takeaway this evening, can't see anything good on telly so no idea what we'll do! Have a good evening all xx
