Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 28 Jul 2020, 06:01

Morning everyone

Cool and cloudy this morning  Supposed to be about 4C less than we have had recently, so will be a pleasant day 8-)

I'm off to sit on a cushion, on the top drive once I've finished my coffee. There's a spreading weed that needs to go :cute:  General pootling and a swim later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Have a good weeding and pootling day Jan :)

It's really chilly here today, and looking like rain :? I'm going to see D, to have our usual Tuesday lunch together. She wasn't feeling well yesterday, but I've just got off the phone with her and she feels better today 8-)

Mick is running B to Bristol this afternoon as she's finally getting the top-up injections for the varicose vein laser treatment she had back in February. That was supposed to be in early April, but of course it got postponed. Hopefully all will be well, but if it all needs redoing they will sort it. Hopefully not!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good luck with the weeds Jan. hopefully B will get sorted Kaz.
Well, it looks like another day of showers here with maybe a bit of sun. MrsC is going into town with daughter, grand daughter and sister and hitting the shops!
I will be trying to sort out a BT package and the tax man. I think she's got the better idea!
Have a good day all.

Morning Jan and Kaz, morning everyone

Jan, hope you manage to get rid of the weed (for a few hours at least   ) what's the bet as you remove one bit another pops up behind you? :D
Kaz, glad D is feeling better - will be good for you to see her in person and judge for yourself. And fingers crossed for B that nothing needs redoing and the top-up injection today is sufficient
Crommers, that made me laugh; Mrs C definitely has the better idea :D How is FiL doing?

Another general pootling day for me - chickens still being loud  I had a fairly productive day yesterday sorting through lots of bags of stuff (paperwork mainly) and will continue doing that today. The weather is rather iffy so not sure how much, if anything, I can do outside so sorting bags is next best option :D

Off to Karl and Nadine for dinner tonight - we're having Thai. A friend of Nadine's is Thai and once a month cooks bulk and sells take away portions (only to friends) and it's absolutely to die for; everything fresh made on the day.... yum!!!!

Have a lovely day all x

I'm on my way

Hope B can get it sorted today Kaz x

Oh dear Crommers, you got the short straw this morning ;)

Happy paper work pootling Ria, I hate it and I have to do it, as Grumpy won't  :cute:

Did an hour and a half, got rid of a huge bucket full, might give it to the donkey next door. At least he'd have something fresh to eat.

Clouds now gone and we're back to the normal bright blue sky 8-) Amazing how a drop of 4C can make such a difference :?

I forgot I have ironing - how can you forget ironing   - so I'm going to do that this morning.

Morning all :D

Well it was sunny, but looking a bit overcast right now and very windy.

Kaz good luck to B, hope it can be sorted today.

Mrs.C definitely got the best deal Crommers

Spotted a leak under my car, it looks like clear oil so not sure what it can be. Our next door neighbour gave me the number of a mechanic he uses, he says to drive it over to his garage tomorrow so he can have a look. Fingers tightly crossed it isn't anything too serious and expensive.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good morning all, after a sunny start it’s gone dull now I’ve just done the second load of washing. It’s very breezy though so that’ll help dry it.

I started the day with a long walk with Bill. We had to change route though as we saw the dreaded Vizsla, from around the corner, following us along a path. It’s walked by a ‘professional’dog walker who walks it off lead and it’s totally out of control, constantly barking and running at other dogs and people. Twice last week it ran up behind me and Bill on paths which are really out of the way and the dog walker was nowhere to be seen. All the usual morning people know it and are fed up of it.

Think me and Tom will have some lunch shortly and then I’ll hoover through. Joe’s bringing Amanda with him when he comes home from work, they cook themselves a meal on Tuesdays after going for a run.

Mrs C definitely got the better deal today Crommers!

Have a good day all :)

Jo, do you know where the Visla lives? If yes then put a note through the door, chances are the owners don't realise that the dog walker is doing what she/he is. But either way they need to be made aware. And also have a word with the local warden?

I do but I wouldn’t want to approach them as they’re not very nice people. I did get the details of the dog warden last week but I’m in two minds as to whether to contact them as the dog lives in the house right next to the path onto the common from our estate and it’d be quite easy to see who walks that way at that time and work out who’d reported them, same with an anonymous note :?

Afternoon all, there was lovely sun earlier when I was out for a walk although the breeze was cool when the sun went behind a cloud. It’s clouding over a bit more now. Edward is playing golf and I will be going to the gym shortly. A bit of shopping locally this afternoon, need to get a few cards and top up on milk, otherwise no plan.
