Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 08 Aug 2020, 05:49

Morning everyone

A few clouds around and quite warm already 8-)

Will do the watering this morning, then curry making  Yes, silly, but for a Silly Saturday Supper, why not? Also have some hand washing to do and then head for the pool.

Off down to the bar this afternoon, before the curry ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

It is cloudy but the sun is trying to come out.

Will be painting the shed today. Have finished the fence apart from one panel behind the shed. It is awkward to get at so will save it till last.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning, it’s already horribly hot.

I’ve walked Bill while John got a lie in. I went to bed after him last night and it was pretty cool upstairs so I was looking forward to a good sleep....and at 2am we don’t know what disturbed Bill but he became very restless. We were up and downstairs with him and each time he just stood on the doorstep listening, he was on and off the bed. It was like the reaction he has to fireworks, thunder or alarms but we couldn’t hear any of them. Maybe he had a bad dream? He finally settled just after 5.

Amanda sent me a video of the cottage in Falmouth where she’ll be living from September. It’s lovely! A proper old Cornish cottage and she’s even got a window seat in her bedroom. She and Joe went to the beach after they’d unpacked the things they’d taken down and it looked pretty quiet.

Jan, I always do that too

Saundra, get a nap!

Have a good day all :D

Maybe there was somebody or something moving around in the vicinity that Bill could smell or hear Jo?
Morning all. A beautiful day here. I'll be going for a paper soon. I went for the bargain nice Tesco red wine the other day only to find they had sold out - again. I reckon somebody with a restaurant is buying their stock as soon as it hits the shelves.
Tonight MrsC and I are going out with some old friends for an outside meet up at a local pub. It will be nice seeing them, they are always good company.
Have a good day all.

I did wonder that Crommers but I checked the cameras while lying awake at 3.30am and certainly nothing close by had been picked up but then he can hear the fridge door being opened while dozing two floors up so in the dead of night with the windows wide open there’s every chance his giant ears would’ve heard something further away.

Enjoy your evening out!

Morning all :D

Hot, hot, hot 8-)

E had another phone call from the RNOH yesterday, this time the occupational therapy dept. Was a bit of a kerfuffle, she rang the landline and a short way through her question session we had a power cut. Luckily I'd given them his mobile number so she was able to call back. She explained no visitors are allowed in the hospital, it's all part of their Covid protection. She also gave me a number to ring to arrange transport there and back, fingers crossed that works as I've been getting a bit worried about doing the drive myself.

A couple of hours later our surgery rang with an appointment for his ECG, blood tests etc, apparently the hospital want the results back by the 21st Aug. She said his date should be within two weeks of that so to be prepared it's all happening quite soon.

M and co spent more time on the beach, bought some food and arrived here at 3.30pm. Finally set off at 7.30pm It's been so lovely, it's likely to be another year till we see them again so it's been an extra special 3 days.

After all the excitement we're being extremely lazy today. I decided to spread the washing over 2 days so I do have the bed to remake later, but that's about it. Tbh it's too hot to do much anyway.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
