Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 22 Aug 2020, 04:06

Good morning.

Up at 4.30 to wave Michele off on her way back to France. I'll miss her as we are a very giggly pair of sisters.

I'll try to grab another hours sleep then go for my usual walk.

Dad and I are going to spend a lovely quiet day in together. :D Watch an old Laurel & Hardy film and eat sweets.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Hope you managed to get another hour or so of sleep Ally, that was an early start. Haven't seen a Laurel and Hardy film in absolute years; they are funny. Two years or so ago I had two hedgehogs for release - both males; one was quite chunky and the other quite a bit smaller; I named then Stan and Oliver :D

Pootling about this morning, doing washing and sorting a few things. 11.30 heading off to meet up with a friend for lunch; we haven't seen each other in absolute ages so it'll be lovely to catch up.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning 8-) The sun is really arm, the wind not

Safe journey to M, Ally. Hope you managed a couple more hours and have a lovely day with your dad x

Late start for us. Bad couple of nights sleep and it caught us up and we slept in

Watering done and although I was going to vacuum and hoover this morning, it will be too hot, so it will wait until tomorrow. Having a cooked breakfast this morning :Hi: and I won't want to do much after that

Meeting Mitchell at the bar later, not seen him for a couple of weeks. And curry for dinner

Have a lovely lunch and catch-up Ria xx

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

I guess M is safely back in France by now Al, so glad you've had a lovely time together :) xx

Jan you must have needed that sleep :D xx

Ria, Ally, I love Laurel and Hardy too, the one with the piano kills me!

I'm in Corretto's with Mick, have been to the SW meeting ( I maintained which is ok), B is working. It feels like early Autumn here, sunshine and sharp showers, with a definite nip in the air! Off to see D in a while.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, mostly cloudy here and a bit windy. I didn’t have a great night’s sleep so am feeling rather tired. I put the washed bedding on the line last night, so hopefully they are dry as there has been no rain. We might go for a walk. Miss Osc and family are coming back today after six weeks in Wicklow, I think the children will find life a bit restricting now after all the space and freedom they have had. Miss Osc and SIL are actively looking for a house to buy now, they missed out on a nice one last week when it went for above their limit. They are looking at another today.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but still windy.

Hope the weather stays nice for you Crommers, enjoy your holibobs.
Ally I love Laurel & Hardy, so funny.
Enjoy lunch with your friend Ria.
Not like you to lie in Jan, you must have been tired.
Hope your parcel arrives okay Saundra.
Osc good luck to Miss Osc with the home search.

Not much happening here, no surprises there  We would love to sit out in the garden, but the wind's way too strong for the umbrellas.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
