Good afternoon. Very nice now after early rain, in fact it's a bit muggy out there.
Just got back from brunch at the local garden centre, £6.83 for a large breakfast, bacon sarnie and salad for Mrs O, and 2 coffees.
Very nice, but it will be our last such outing as it was absolutely Wasp Central up there.
A black BMW in the carpark was crawling with them (they like black, apparently) and in the outdoor café, it was difficult to get more than a minute's respite. When we'd been through the shop and were loading up the car with compost and plant pots, two wasps got inside and it was the devil's own job to evict them. So that's it for this year's eating out, I'm afraid, simply no longer a pleasant experience.
On the positive side, we've had four meals out under the half-price scheme, so that's hopefully helped out the local traders in some small way.
Hope you have a yellow-stripy-thing-free day, all!
