Afternoon everyone :)

Jan I hope your card turned up, and you and your friend had fun :) xxx

Afternoon, Cruiser :) xxx

Glad you had a good day yesterday Ria and that things should be getting sorted for your friend :D xx

Jo, Tom looked so grown-up in that photo, but then I guess he is ;) Very smart too, I wish him well in his career as a teacher :) We need a sort out here really, but (finally) my ensuite is on the agenda for when we get back from Devon ;) xxx

Wishing E all the very best Jen, try not to worry xxx

Hope your FiL is finally settling in Crommers? xxx

Glad you both got the all-clear at the dentist's Osc. Poor B is having a tooth out tomorrow, a botched root canal at our last dentist's that couldn't be saved. Thankfully it's right near the back, but she'll have a bridge or implant when it settles.

It's tipping down here! It was fine this morning, so I walked into town to get the toiletries we need for our holiday, as they're cheaper in B&M and Superdrug than Sainsbury's. I had lunch with D up at hers, then walked home - luckily I had my brolly :cute:

Love to all :) xx

Hope all goes well for E!

Kaz, we’ve had heavy rain all afternoon. This morning was lovely but I’d seen the forecast so Bill had his evening walk once the Tesco delivery had been put away at 11.30am

Saundra, he hasn’t actually done any teaching yet  Yesterday was an inset day so it was lots of meetings about new procedures. Today it’s just been the new starters, Year 7, and they’ve done lots of team building exercises and activities. Tomorrow the other two year groups return, Years 8 and 9, and they’re doing pretty much the same including a murder mystery session. I think it’s all to ease them back in after being off for so long. The school only opened two years ago and is only on it’s third intake so they’ve only got the first three years there so far and proper lessons start on Friday.

Kaz, it’s scary how grown up they suddenly look isn’t it!

Not seeing a pic of him for a while Jo, and thought, berlimey  All grown up :D

Been a lovely, lovely warm day. The market was fine, most people wearing masks, most of the elderly English not :cute: - got a huge piece of presunto and some lovely cheeses and a watering can  The very nice man always lets you have a slice to try, ham or cheese and it is to die for, so soft and tasty :Hi:

Max, Jan's new dog, managed to scrape my arm and I'm all scabby  my skin is paper thin, thanks to the steroids, but she put some magic stuff on and I'm healed  Unheard of, normally takes days for my skin to heal.

Grumpy and I did the supermarket when I got back and also bought some killing stuff for the nasty woodworm - they drive me scatty, with their munching.

Had such a strong wind gusting earlier, one of the sun loungers ended up in the pool  :o and the screening around the top of the all needs re-doing. The dust coming up from the track was just - wow

Going to be rather warm for the next week, so bought a flan from Pingo - It's enormous and will last us at least four days

Lovely moon, shame about the blasted darking bogs
