Good Morning Tuesday

Postby JanB » 08 Sep 2020, 05:59

Morning everyone

Pleasantly cool this morning, and a cooler day too 8-)

Watering to be done this morning and I have a small pile of ironing to get through too. Then not a lot, as it will still be quite warm, just not as warm as it has been. The pool will be well used

Hope E had a more comfortable night and you too Jen xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning Saundra.
Supposed to be sunshine and 24c today - it is grey, chilly and raining.
I know the weather has been changeable but the forecast has been worse than useless recently.
Kevin the gas man is here to service the boiler. He's 67 next month and has been working since he was 15.
Absolutety nothing of note happening here today but I do need to give my brother a call.
Vibes for Jen and E.Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull but dry here and not cold. We are up and about early as we head off on the first part of our holiday. It’s rather relaxing knowing we can just put the stuff in the car and not have to face the rigours of the airport or a flight. We’re even calling into a shopping centre on the way as Edward has seen some walking boots on special offer in Regatta. Looking forward to being somewhere different!

Thinking of Jen and E xxx

Morning all

A quick pop in to say hello. Left the house at 8am this morning to get Thomas to college. Back home for an hour of work, then heading off again shortly to pick up my friend and get her to her medical appointment and wait for her. Then to the farm store on the way back to buy chicken food and then drop friend off. Head over to Sainsbury's to get some food for Karl and Nadine as they don't have time to go shopping today, back to theirs to drop off the food and then go collect Amelia and then back to theirs and work from there until Nadine gets home. A busy day being taxi but good to be able to help out so that Nadine can work and earn money - it was a tough few months for them when she couldn't because of lock-down as both are self employed so only had Karl's salary come in for a while.

Jen, hope you're doing OK today. Any update on E?

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Nice bright and dry, actually quite warm.

Been up ages, but what with getting showered, giving the bathroom a scrub and calls from E and then Z, oh and E again lol only just managed to have brekkie.

Still no news on E's move, will do a proper update on the health board.

Nothing much planned, expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon. Need to do a Boots online order, must get a couple of rubber shower mats to make it safe for E when he eventually gets out of hospital. We had some when I came out of hospital, okay normally, but too slippery for anyone a bit unsteady.

Hope you all have a good day, thanks for thinking of us xx

Afternoon all :)

We've had another lovely day here. Temps of almost 20° - we wandered down to the South Sands Hotel, just a hundred yards or so down the road, sat on their terrace overlooking the sands and stayed for several hours watching the tide go out, the dog walkers, the swimmers and paddleboarders, the tractor that goes out to meet the ferry......bliss :D 8-) :D Glad

Ria, Crommers is right ;) xxx

Jen, sending my best xxx

*Waves to everyone* 8-) :) xxxx
