Absolutely.

I was fuming last week after seeing a video my cousin’s son posted on Facebook of a house party he and his wife held. There must’ve been at least 30 there, all crammed together in the garden singing football songs (judge all you like, I certainly am).

Tonight he’s complaining on Facebook about the unfairness of the new restrictions.

Frank, that sounds lovely and it’s really not difficult is it.

Went down the supermarket at 7:00 this evening. What was going on in the council car park behind the library there, I don't know, but it looked like an outdoor barbecue (I saw the rising smoke) attended by between 50 and 100 young people. Last hurrah before new restrictions?

And social distancing? Forget it ....

Ossie  It's thanks to irresponsible people like this that we're facing more restrictions again :(

As an aside I see Birmingham is going into special measures from Tuesday :?

As our visitors yesterday were from England, we kept our distance, sat equally around the table, didn't touch each other, cough etc.

Everything they touched got disinfected once they'd gone. But they're sensible, wore masks and sanitized on the plane over and will be isolating and getting tested when they get back to England.

Over here, the majority of the people are being careful, but I think also getting a little lax, as we have so few cases in our area. Well, none at all. The majority of the new infections are right up north and the Lisbon area.

We'll be finding out soon what, if any, nw restrictions are being put in place. Don't think it will affect us so much. We don't go out a lot.
