Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 12 Sep 2020, 07:16

Morning everyone

Rather overcast this morning, but warm. This should be the last of our really warm weather - but then we've been told that before

General pootling this morning, hand washing and just pootle in the garden too. Grumpy is making a frame for something Lozzles sent me :D

And then we're off to Ourique to hopefully get salt for the pool, acid too. Stop at the chemist to collect prescriptions and then will have a pit-stop at the bar. And check the post box.

Back for a curry 8-)

Hope E got some results from his hospital tour yesterday and had a good night, and you Jen xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

There was a clear blue sky when I got up, but grey clouds are coming so we may have rain. Just pootling again after a busy day yesterday.
A joiner came to fit another handrail on the staircase in the morning. Some friends came and brought su alovely bunch of flowers and a card as it was our wedding anniversary. They stood outside at the front door while we had a few words.
Then in the evening a lady mrs.e used to work with came and we had a few drinks. She likes a good whisky. Mrs.e only drinks white wine so two of us have
drunk half a bottle in two visists. So no driving today.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it is a nice morning here, not sure how warm or otherwise it is as I haven’t been out yet. Busy day ahead as we get ready to head off to Wicklow tomorrow, ironing to be done as well. Edward’s knee is still bothering him, I hope we will be able to do the walks we have planned. Right, better get going!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Lozzles is so clever, please post a photo when it's all done Jan.

E had his best night yet, I'm so pleased, he was very down yesterday. His hospital tour didn't go ahead in the end, nothing much happens in hospitals at the weekend so I doubt he'll hear when the angiogram is happening before Monday. He's still sleeping a lot, but of course it's very boring for him. I've talked him through downloading iplayer and sky go on his tablet so hopefully he'll find something interesting to watch. One of the heart team spoke to him yesterday evening, his physio stays restricted to bed exercises until they have the result of the angio. They spoke to Mr.P and all being well his op should go ahead in 2/3 months time, it all really depends on the results and how long it takes to get him back to normal health.

Made myself a little list of things to do today, not big jobs, but enough to keep me busy for a while. Already spoken to E a couple of times, expect there will be more calls through the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hello all and welcome back Kaz

A busy morning. Had to leave the house just after 9 so set the alarm for 7.30 thinking I'd have plenty time to do a few things..... well you know what thought did!  Needless to say only half the things done before I had to head out. Back just before 1, a bit more pootling and then out again around 3.30 to Karl and Nadine for Amelia's birthday dinner.

Jen, glad E had a much better night; and I really hope the ball starts rolling on Monday; hospitals really aren't the best place for rest and recuperation and E (and you) will be so much happier to get home asap.

Jan, looking foward to a photo of Louise's work framed; it will be stunning!

Well, best dash and crack on... xxx
