Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 19 Sep 2020, 07:32

Morning everyone

Grey, but warm ish and some sunshine this morning.

We had quite a bit more rain last night :Hi: :Hi: and one forecast says no more today and the other says thunderstorms and 5mm of rain  So no swimming again today

Need to get the vacuuming out of the way sometime today - Molly slept in for most of the day yesterday, because of the weather  - and the oven needs cleaning

Might take a wander around the garden later, see how happy it is, with proper rain 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Another bright sunny day 8-)

Saundra, have a lovely day with Scarlett.
Enjoy your walk around the garden Jan. Ours needs more tidying, but the bin is full and won't get emptied till Tuesday, a good enough excuse to leave it today methinks

E had a much better night, actually managed to sleep through. It's all a bit chaotic there right now, they have a power cut and no water. Obviously the back up generator is for the areas that need it most, so there are no lights in E's ward. Think they have a supply of bottled water, but nothing to wash the patients with. His temperature is still up, but he actually feels fine.

Not sure what I'm doing yet, need to get the huge cardboard boxes E's equipment came in out to the garage. I've got a casserole going in the slow cooker, will do nicely for dinner today and tomorrow. Think I'll probably just potter for a bit before getting stuck into the kindle.

Hope you all have a good day xx

I'm glad E had a better night Jen.
Eliza is not sleeping well which means her parents aren't sleeping well. So MrsC has volunteered us to have Eliza sleep here tonight.
It's a beautiful day here too. We've been to Argos to get a stair gate, I may pop out to Tesco in a mo to get wine and some Alpro yoghurt.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, it is not a very nice day here, dull and cold due to an easterly wind. As we are unexpectedly having the family around this evening, I had to give the bathrooms a quick clean and wave the duster around this morning. Then I went to the local nail bar for a girlie manicure with Miss Osc and Kellie which was lovely. Family arriving around 5.30 and pizzas to be collected from a local restaurant at that time too.

Afternoon everyone :)

A bit of disappointment here as Chris isn't well, so rang to cancel :( Luckily I hadn't taken the dessert out of the freezer, and the chicken and veg will keep until tomorrow. Now I am worrying myself silly as he has aches and pains and possibly a temp - no cough though - so my imagination is is overdrive :? He's an overweight 42 year old ex-smoker so please let it not be Covid :? :? :?

Jen that does sound like chaos there, but I'm glad E feels ok :) xxx

Love to all xxxx

Kaz can C get a test? If just to put your mind at rest - our kids are always a worry, no matter how old they are! ((((((((((x))))))))

Been to work this morning, on my own today and kept going (busy) - as we are in partial lockdown in our area I rang my sister to ask if she would like to go for a coffee with me, she could always say she was in my bubble, but much as she'd have LOVED to come, she felt she should probably stick to the rules, so she declined :( So I went along alone, had a Snickers scone and a flat white, then back home.

I've FINALLY finished the stick heart I started during April!!! I just needed to pull my finger out, I had all the sticks and the glue for the glue gun, just got on and finished, spray painted it and it's now drying in the garage.

Meant to be heading to the van tomorrow as T was working at the farm this morning....but I'm not feeling the excitement atm - thanks to LD2!!!! :( I think we might get another major lockdown again...anyone else agree?
