Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 22 Sep 2020, 05:36

Good morning.

Reporting back in after two weeks of madness.... I'll post on another thread later.

Beautiful weather. Sunny and anything between 28 - 30 degrees.

First day back at work since March 12 and will be very different for sure. Will post on another thread.

Hope everyone is ok and has a good day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cool start to the day, but will be lovely and warm later - same temperature are as Ally 8-)

Welcome back Ally :Hi: :Hi: Good luck with your first day back x

Ironing for me this morning and Grumpy will be listening out for the munchers - those blighters sure are hard to kill off  :cute:

Then off to Beja this afternoon. Heaven knows what time we'll be back, they're not good at timekeeping, hospitals, over here  And not sure if I'll be allowed in either, so I'll write down any info Grumpy might need. I'll take a book, water and just wait.

Will stop at Lidl on the way back to get stuff only they do. Shame there isn't an Aldi too.

Probably pit-stop at the bar on the way back, think we'll be in need of a beer

Hope E had a better night, temperature back to normal and then home to you Jen xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
A misty start and cooler.
Busy day yesterday. Went to see the nurse about the results of my blood test. I am now on a very stricy diet a my blood pressure and blood sugar readings are high.

The back home and after a coffee more house work. Then someone came to try and sort out my new printer. But no success. Am now waiting for Xerox
2nd Line of technical support to contact me. Then we had a visitor who stayed nearly an hour. It is the eldest daughter of one of mrs,e's cousins, so family.
Then I spent an hour in the garden doing more weeding.
They seem to grow quicker than I can pull them up. After dinner loaded rubbish into the car which I am going to take to the dump. Also going to the
post office to post two parcels.
Then hopefully having a relaxing day.
Another skip has been delivered to a house in our small crescent. This means there are skips at three seperate houses. The are parked in the front garden so not obstructing the road
Have a good day everybody

Good morning all, it’s a sunny one and we’re forecast a warm day.

Bill’s had a long walk, I’ve had coffee and I’m now waiting for the washing machine to stop so I can hang the washing out on the line. The window vac is charging so once that’s ready I’ll clean the windows inside. I’ll take Bill out an afternoon walk as well while the weather’s on our side.

Hope the first day back goes well Al! Tom was saying that the kids at his school seem really glad to be back in the classroom, are enthusiastic and are working really hard.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all and hello Ally! Nice to have you back.
To the bank this morning and also to Screwfix to buy some wood stain for the back fence. It will be the last warm day we get for a while so it has to be done. I don't now how I'll cope with the excitement!
Got to go now, have a good day all.

Good old Screwfix Crommers!

We looked online daily for fence paint back in the Spring while the weather was lovely. After several weeks some showed up in the colour we wanted at Screwfix in Stafford so I paid online, me and Joe went to get it in the evening ....and it rained and rained and rained for the next few weeks

Morning all :D

Another bright sunny day 8-)

Good luck to Grumpy at the hospital Jan xx

E had a canula put back in and had an infusion of antibiotics last night and again this morning. He's waiting to hear when he'll be going for the aspiration, should be sometime today. Of course this should have been dealt with over the weekend, but at least things are moving now. He had a good nights sleep and is feeling much happier and as a bonus his temp was down this morning.

The garden bin's been emptied so I'll be out there shortly getting the rest of the bush I started to butcher finished. I definitely wouldn't get a job as a gardener  Not much else planned, Tesco are delivering this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s very dull here today, and it was a bit mizzley when I was going out for a walk. However it brightened up just a little, no sun though, but I enjoyed my walk anyway. I’ve been pottering around doing not very much since. Edward is playing golf. Glad to hear E had a good night, Jen, and hopefully you will have him home soon.
