Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 23 Sep 2020, 06:42

Good Morning everyone

Cloudy start and we're hopefully getting some rain today :Hi: Although the sun is out at the moment, lovely sunrise again 8-)

A quick wander around the garden after coffee, so I can feed all the plants before the rain. If not, before we water tomorrow ;)

So not quite sure what we'll be doing, a general pootle and finish off one book, halfway through another

Hope you get some good news about E Jen x and you both had a good night.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan and all, we’ve got rain and it’s cooler than the last few days.

I had a panic earlier, thinking that Joe had slept in (which isn’t a big problem as he can start work anytime between 7 and 9 but he likes to be there and ready to start at 7). I then remembered that he’s in college today although he’s still not sure which course he’s doing as the one which he’s supposed to be taking this year for his apprenticeship is one that he already passed while he was at college full time.

The Tesco delivery is coming soon, I’ll finish this coffee and then hoover while I’m waiting.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :)

Enjoy your pootle Jan, and your books 8-) :) xx

You're a family of early risers then Jo ;) When B is on an early shift pattern she's out of the house by 7.15 - I usually hear her go, but not always  :P  xx

Hoping Jen has good news about E today. Fingers crossed XX

It's raining here, and I need to pop to the M&S garage as Chris is coming over today :D Could do without the rain, but am otherwise feeling very happy. B will get to see him as she doesn't leave for work until after 1 O'clock, and Mick will knock off for a long lunch :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all. We have Eliza this morning.
It is chucking it down here, luckily we got most of the fence panels painted yesterday.
Nothing whatsoever on apart from making a resolution not to reply to a two bob covid expert on our village FB page. We have covid all over the news for six months and this prawn thinks we need his advice.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Rain first thing, but drying now, overcast so expect we'll get more as the day goes on.

Just as well you don't have to listen to our eldest daughter Crommers. She's bought into all the conspiracy theries, Bill Gates is trying to take over the world by altering everyone's DNA, oh and then there's QAnon, End of Days and so on. She's all over Fb with it, thankfully she knows better than to bore us with it and even better she doesn't take offence if we have a little chuckle.

E had an interrupted night again, manages a couple of hours and then someone kicks off. All very tiring, he really needs one good long sleep. He's having 3 doses of intravenous antibiotic each day, just hope they're doing the trick. Still waiting for his aspiration, apparently they need the musculoskeletal team involved and they're not available every day.

The plumber's just been to do our yearly boiler service, all sorted for another year. No other plans for today, general pottering this morning, will probably sit down with the kindle this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, it is a pleasant autumn day here, some thin sunshine but doesn’t seem to be cold. Edward has done our online shop for delivery tomorrow and is now preparing to clean the windows. I have to do some ironing, I’m starting to wash the summer clothes prior to putting them away - some didn’t need washing as they haven’t been worn :(

Jen, it’s so hard to sleep in hospital, isn’t it. I really don’t understand how anyone can really believe all the conspiracy nonsense, particularly QAnon stuff which is completely bonkers.

So it's rained more or less all day today in Northumberland. We grabbed a drier spell and walked along the beach to Alnmouth, had a flat white and a scone (bacon and egg buttie and tea for himself) and back. Rain was blowing in our faces all the way back and there isn't anywhere to dry stuff at the caravan....so we have jackets and jeans hung about hoping they air dry. If tomorrow is no different I think we'll go home.

Have a lovely time with C Kaz! xx

Hope E gets a decent nights' sleep soon Jen x

That's a shame Gal, but the weather's just as bad here  :cute:

We had a lovely afternoon, thanks :) Chicken, salad, potatoes followed by strawberry tart or raspberry cheesecake for lunch (still feel stuffed  ) and chatting in front of a documentary he wanted to watch on Netflix. He left just after six and I've just this minute had a text to say he's home :)

I hope E's home soon so he can rest properly, hospitals aren't relaxing places, too must hustle and bustle :?
