Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 27 Sep 2020, 06:39

Morning everyone

Bit blowy this morning, but the early clouds are going and we should have a lovely, warm day.

Cooked breakfast for us later and if the wind drops, Grumpy will be painting the walls by the pool. Think I might get in it

Other than that, a quiet day.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all, it’s bright and breezy here. It says on FB that there will be music in the park today but advising us to spread out. We’ll go along and dance in our own space, it would be a shame to waste a fine day. Thinking of Jen and E.

Good morning, just a quick check in before we go out to Stafford. It’s sunny but cold and windy.

I need to go to Tesco for some phone credit but will check for a queue first, might go to the little Express down the road instead.

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everybody.

Bright and sunny but much colder. Temperature in car when I went for paper said it was only 4 degrees. Not seen it like that for a long time.
Vibes for those who need them.
Another day inside just pootling.
Have a good day evrybody.

Morning all :)

Thinking of E and Jen, hoping some positive news xx

It's sunny but absolutely freezing here today! We're out having a cuppa, well wrapped up! Brrr! About to pop to D's to put her garden bin out for her - the gardener came during the week and filled it, so it's far too heavy for D to put out herself for tomorrow's collection. Cottage pie for dinner today as I have some mince and spuds that need using up, and it keeps well for B after work...

Love to all :) xxx

Morning all :D

Rain and very heavy wind here.

Definitely don't want another night like last night. The op went very well, it was delayed a bit as they decided to bring in the consultant anaesthetist, just to be on the safe side. I was able to talk to E for a few minutes when he got back to the ward, didn't get much sense from him as he was still groggy. He looks much better this morning, his temperature is back to normal hurrah. Apparently there was a lot of gunk to be washed through, it really couldn't have been left. This new ortho chap is brilliant, very decisive and for the first time in over a week E's confident he's getting the best treatment. Oh and being moved to his own room meant, even with the 2 hourly stat checks, he actually slept.

I was so wrung out I didn't actually get to bed until 2ish. Definitely not quite with it this morning, thank goodness I made a casserole yesterday, will only need to pop the leftover portion in the microwave this evening.

Thank you all for thinking of us xxx

Crikey Jen, look after yourself because this must be incredibly stressful for you. Good news for E though, at last it sounds as though he is getting a proper standard of treatment and a night's sleep has got to help him.
Grey and breezy here, and pretty cold.
We have had Eliza overnight. She woke up a few times but it could have been worse. Hopefully we'll have the house straight by tonight. ;)
Chicken for dinner and football on the tv and that's it.
Have a good day all.
