Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 28 Sep 2020, 07:08

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but quite chilly. We're in for a few rather warm days, so looking forward to that 8-)

Washing machine on and Grumpy will be out and painting soon. I'll be pootling in the garden, watering new plants, dead-heading and a bit of a tidy up, where I can.

Hope E had a good night and Jen, hope you got some sleep last night too x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,

The sun has been out but clouds are coming. But rain is not forecast. Just pootling. May do some washing and ironing as the basket is getting full.

Vibes for those who need it
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Jan, morning Cruiser - morning everyone :D

Cruiser and Jan, hope you enjoy the day doing the bits and bobs you're up to in the home and in the garden

I wasn't online over the weekend so only just catching up on Jen - hope E had a good night and you did too Jen x Sending big hugs

Had a busy weekend and loving having my niece here. It's a dry sunny day today so we'll go for a walk a bit later and stop off for a pub lunch along the way. This evening / afternoon I have a plumber coming to run a new water inlet and outlet so I can plumb the washing machine in in the bathroom; at the moment it's in the outhouse which does work just fine but gets really cold in the winter and there are some days when I can't use it. Also I want to use the outhouse area for veg storage which I can't do if using the tumble drier as it gets too hot; so time for both to move into the bathroom.

Tomorrow (another dry day apparently) we've booked a slot to go to Wisley which will be lovely; I haven't been in absolute ages! Then not sure what the rest of the week will bring as the weather is meant to turn really wet and cold :( I need to sort out the covered chicken run to get that autumn and winter proof so may end up doing that

Have a lovely day all, vibes to those that need them

x

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast, but the wind's dropped and everything outside seems to have survived.

Enjoy pootling in the garden Jan.
Ria sounds as though you're in for a busy week with your niece, have fun.
Hope your granddaughter is settled in nicely Saundra.

E had a good night, he was moved into the main ortho ward after dinner last night. There are 6 of them, all very friendly and thank goodness 'normal'. The consultant has just seen him. He's very pleased with progress so far, they've done more blood tests and E's off now to have xrays and an MRI. The lab results from the knee gunk aren't back yet. This consultant is definitely on the ball, he seems to be doing everything needed. Fingers crossed for good results.

I managed a good night's sleep too, don't feel so gritty eyed this morning. Nothing planned, general pottering around the house and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, thanks for thinking of us xx

Afternoon all, it was a dreary damp morning but the forecast was spot on and now we have sunshine. I have a bit of a sinusy dose so don’t feel 100% but got all the current ironing done. I am very impressed with Next, I ordered shoes from them early Saturday evening and they arrived today at 12.30pm! Shoes for Kellie’s birthday, she saw them on Saturday when we were at the shopping centre, so I told Miss Osc I would get them for her - just the job for our sparkly princess  https://www.next.ie/en/g81396s15/283071#283071?i=11eu29

Edward is busy organising dinner for later and then we’ll get some summer clothes into the attic, he needs to move other stuff so I can get at the clothes boxes. In the meantime, I’ll have a quick walk up the the post office as I didn’t go for a walk this morning. Glad to hear E is doing better.
