There were 14 of those little bits at 7.30 WM, just perfect with an asparagus and courgette risotto...
And perfect as a little taster beforehand
And as a little nibble an hour or so later...
Six bits now safely in the freezer ;)
Blimey it's good :D

Yeah, but there's only one of me...... and those numbers look doable.

Apart from the six for the freezer. They would be in the bread bin for tomorrow. :o

I think you could freeze half all done but before baking, if that would help? Or of course freeze half the plain dough.

See, the reason it's the pizza dough recipe is that it uses only 300g of flour, the one for 'tear and share bread' uses 550g.
I'm not so daft as to make that much but still, for only two of us it's a lot. After all as said before, when making pizzas we only use 2/3 of that 300g mix.
You have to think of it as you would a mars bar or something, whatever you think of as a naughty treat, and work out what's a reasonable amount.
Sorry if that sounds boring, but when cooking for only one or two it is a problem isn't it, you sometimes want things that are more practical in larger amounts, but why should we miss out :)

Di, when I am making pizza dough I do a 450g mix and then cut it into six after the first rise. They then go in the freezer in bags for use as and when.

One of these buns could be used to make those rolls, probably three, cooked at the same time as the pizza, but I would have to use oodles of self-control not to eat everything in one go.

Sorry Kaz, but be honest, you're not about to go into the kitchen and start playing with flour and yeast, are you?!
When you go shopping miss out the bread aisle ;)

WM yes, when I freeze the pizza dough it then gets used sometimes as pizzas, but also garlic bread (pizza-shaped or roll-shaped), and yes you could use some for this too :)
