Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 14 Oct 2020, 06:17

Morning everyone

Chilly start, althogh the most gorgous sunrise 8-) and not going to be warm at all today or for the rest of the week, so think the fire will be lit ;)

Off to Ourique later, to do the normal runaround. Need plumbing stuff to sort out the cut irrigation pipe, as we're goingto have an outlet where he cut it, saves on walking around, having another hosepipe  Get the supermarket out of the way and coffee on the way back.

I'll be prepping for tomorrow nights visitors and doing the ironing, if I can.

Think we'll have a bbq too :D

Hope E continues to improve x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning. It’s sunny, breezy and cool here.

The washing is blowing around on the line, Bill’s had a long walk and now I’m waiting for the Tesco delivery. It’s due in the next half hour. I’ve also got Royal Mail delivering a parcel today so I need to keep an eye open for them.

Gotta go...Tesco’s here.

Back again. Everything’s been put away and I’ve repacked the shopping for my parents to take around later.

Jan, I’m here thinking about putting our BBQ away for the year! We’ve got a sofa and armchair in the garage at the moment though, waiting for a charity to come and collect it, so I think I’ll have to leave it until that’s out of the way.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, another bright breezy day here so I will pop the washing on the line for a blow around. We’ve just placed the order for tomorrow’s grocery delivery, although I’ll get a couple of things locally today as Edward is trying a lentil chilli in the Instant Pot and we’re missing a few ingredients. Then I want to change the bed and also clean our bathroom. Feeling domestic today

No bbq tonight Jo, far too windy. And a chilly north wind it is too. Hope the washing stays on the line

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

What a morning, up at silly o'clock for E's follow up appointment at the RNOH with Mr. Palmer. We were told to be ready for his pick up from 5am, but they didn't turn up till 6.25, could have had another hour in bed. That's just the beginning, poor E, after all the faff of getting up early, he arrived at the hospital to be told his appointment was cancelled :o Anyway, they've being brilliant and said they would do everything they could to avoid a wasted visit. Mr. Palmer will fit him in sometime before lunch. In the meantime he's being really well looked after, they got him a nice food box and are keeping him supplied with coffee. From what E's been told it appears a letter they received from Barnet hospital caused the confusion as it seemed to indicate he was still there!!! Oh and no, like our surgery, they didn't get a copy of his discharge summary either, just as well I sent him up with a photocopy as it lists everything Mr.P needs to know.

Goodness knows what time he'll be back home, just as well I did a massive casserole yesterday so we have plenty left for today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Evening everyone :)

Jen that's dreadful :? I hope poor E isn't too exhausted when he gets home :( xx

Well I've had a busy day, Em and I catching up with a Pilates friend who we haven't seen for 6 months, and then I walked up to see D and check whether she needed any help remaking beds etc after her visitors.

Am now waiting for Zoomba to start, I'm trying it on my tablet tonight in the bedroom - I usually use the laptop, smart telly downstairs :? Should be interesting :P

Love to all xxxx
