2020 keeps getting worse - Update

My life long friend G, who lives in New Zealand, is having a partial mastectomy tomorrow. We spoke for 30 minutes on WhatsApp last night, isn’t technology wonderful. She had cervical cancer three years ago, and her ex-husband is currently suffering end stage cancer, in appalling pain. She and their daughter have been caring for him but she had to return to Auckland for the surgery. At least with WhatsApp we schoolgirls, friends since we were 5 years old, can keep in touch to support each other, G in NZ, two in the US and two in Dublin.

But yes, it is great how we can keep in touch with people, so much easier now.

She had her surgery 10.30am and was home enjoying a large dinner by evening!!
