Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 27 Oct 2020, 05:57

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 23 degrees.

I'd say it's a usual work day but it won't be as instead of finishing at 7pm I'm covering for A's last two classes.

I taught her five classes yesterday 4 - 9 and I'll be doing this for the next two weeks. :D

A's father tested positive for Covid 10 days ago. A's husband tested positive last Thursday so A has been quite rightly away from work since then.

To cut a very long story short.....as they have an 8 month old baby who is being breast fed and teething, hubby is in isolation, so instead of A being able to do her zoom classes online, that's now impossible so step in me to do all her classes.

Lots of lesson planning, marking and teaching.

I'll be ready for the weekend I can tell you.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally, and anybody else who is up.
Ally, you must be a good teacher being able to take on someone elses work a well as your own.

It is raining. Forecast says it may be like this all day. Going shopping this morning and to the bank.
Then just pootling and relaxing.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Hazy sun is forecast for today and we're heading for mid 20's from tomorrow, for at least a week. 8-)

Well done on stepping in Ally, a worry for them and good to have you on hand x

We're being rather lazy in the mornings now. There's not a lot to do outside work wise, so having a coffee in bed, when we wake up

I'm going to put my three pairs of jeans on a very hot wash, to try and shrink them. If that's doesn't work, I'll just have to get some smaller, next time we're in the Algarve and continue to pull these up all the time

Too wet to do anything outside still, that will have to wait until Thursday, but the weeds are popping up everywhere :cute: :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning. Grim, grey, cold, wet.
To the bank later and then a Tesco run.
Not a day to be doing too much outside, I think,
Next month sister in law is off to the East coast for a fortnight - in November! :o
She must be as hard as nails. When that wind sweeps in off the North Sea in the winter, by jingo you know about it!
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s a wet and windy one here.

The first things I had planned have been written off - Bill’s walk and then a run. I need to hoover but Joe’s still asleep (he’s booked this week off work) and seeing as he’s usually up before 6am I think he deserves a lie in.

Hope all goes well for A’s Dad and husband, Al.

Have a good day all x

Morning all, it’s fairly damp here, although the rain is supposed to ease off. We are bringing Michael and Kellie for a walk but if it rains, we’ll bring them here for a while. It gives SIL a break as he is back working from home full time again. I might do some ironing this afternoon, or I might not :cute:

Rather her than me Crommers, just the thought makes me want to hibernate

Yesterdays visit to Boots was just as ghastly as I expected, only one person at the counter which meant a queue for 30mins, then another 30mins waiting for them to put it together  I'll allow at least two weeks when E needs more.

Absolutely nothing planned for today, my ankle is suffering after all the standing yesterday.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Ally, wishing your colleague and her family the very best, and you will certainly be ready for the week ;) xxx

Jan, I wish my jeans needed shrinking :P :? xxx

Rain here too Cruiser  xxx

Blimey Crommers, I hope she takes her thermals   xxx

We have the same weather Jo  xxx

Hi Osc :) xx

Jen that's terrible :? :x xxx

*Waves to Saundra* :) xxx

It's a wet and blustery day here. I got the bus into town rather than brave the elements. I won £35 on a lottery ticket but rather than book a ticket to the Caribbean I bought myself a new jumper and some yoga pants in M&S with it  D and I had soup for our lunch, then I walked home - I've not been in long. I might do zumba tonight, I'll see how I feel later :)

Love to all xxx
