Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 14 Nov 2020, 06:05

Good morning.

Warm and mid 20s again.

Off for a good stomp then home to shower and chill out for the whole day. I feel I've hardly had a moment to myself since last weekend so I'm really looking forward to relaxing. :D

We're Zooming with the boys later. Jacob and Conor usually see each other a lot but because J lives in Malaga centro and C lives in Cala del Moral, even though they're only 20 minutes distance apart they come under different municipalities so at the moment can't visit each other. :?

Thank goodness for technology. :D :D

We're ordering a Chinese delivery for dinner tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We're in for a wet day, so will be staying inside doing not a lot  Mild though and warming up to mid 20's for the next couple of days :Hi:

Expecting Jorge and Antonio to deliver the wood this week-end. I didn't specify a day, best not to with the Portuguese ;) Either today or tomorrow is fine.

Our friends who caught the virus are still in quarantine, she's okay, but he isn't so they'll be stuck there for another few days. As it was their 55th wedding anniversary yesterday, they tried to make the most of it, but will celebrate when they are back to normal.

Curry for dinner - well, it's Saturday  Grumpy now ask for half and half, to go with it. Small portion of rice and another of chips

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s grey and drizzly here. It’s still quite mild though.

I managed to walk Bill without either of us getting too wet. The only thing I’ve got to do today is iron, I’ll probably hoover through as well though. I was saying to John yesterday that I always clean the carpets in November so that they’re done before the trees go up and look fresh for Christmas but this year they don’t actually look like they need doing, the Shark vacuum cleaner has made a huge difference. Having said that, Tom’s just this minute walked in and put a mug of coffee on the floor by his feet and near to Bill so I might be doing them today

Jan, hope you get the delivery this weekend

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Ally, everything about lockdown would be SO much harder without technology! Thank goodness for it, definitely 8-) :) xxx

Hope your friends get better soon Jan! Rotten for them to be spending their anniversary in quarantine, but congratulations to them, all the same :) :) xxx

Morning Vic :)

Rotten weather here too Jo! It poured earlier, but just drizzle now. I cleared my ironing yesterday :cute:  Hope that coffee doesn't spill! ;) xxx

Just had my SW meeting on Zoom, just me as Becky is working again, Mick dropped her off. We're about to nip round to D's to "bubble" with her, ie drink tea and eat biscuits  :D I need to pick up some milk for her on the way round. The little Co-op will do, for that and for my newspaper ;) Mick is starting the ensuite today, so I'll be supplying mugs of tea and keeping the dogs out of his way ;)

Have a good Saturday everyone :) xxx

Morning all. Yes, keep the tea coming Kaz!
Grey and damp here after overnight rain - which is the best kind of rain imo,
In a while we are off for a paper and a few bits. Last night MrsC made a chicken curry from an old Delia Smith recipe and it was outstanding.
i will watch the MotoGP qualifying this afternoon and open a bottle tonight.
It is so quiet down this road atm. Only the dog walkers seem to be out and they are well muffled up.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Rain overnight, but the sun's trying to come out now.

Thank goodness for technology indeed Ally, E and I wouldn't have managed half as well without video calling while he was in hospital.
I love a nice curry Jan. Glad the wood arrived.

It's bed change day for me so more washing and my weekly wrestle with our mattress. Nothing else planned until this evening, expecting an Ocado delivery with lots of M&S treats. The earliest slot available was between 7-8pm, not ideal as it means a trip out to the freezer in the garage, the one inside is already pretty full. We're still hoping Z,M and the boys will be able to visit Christmas weekend, bit worried as Thanet is now considered a hot spot so we could well be in tier 3 when this lockdown ends

Hope you all have a good day xx

Wet, cold and horrible here too, Saundra. Not a day for doing anything other than snuggling down under a duvet!
