Afternoon all, it’s grey, wet and miserable here too. We did get out for a walk earlier though when it was brighter, having checked the forecast but even with that we did get a short shower. Edward is watching golf from America, and I plan to read, knit and work on the family tree, in no particular order.

I’m expecting us to be in tier 3 too, yesterday we at 508 per 100000. It’s said that the numbers are being bumped up by the number of infections in the two prisons in the area though so who knows.

Just had an unplanned trip into Lichfield. I follow a florist shop there on Instagram and the owner posted earlier in the week that she’d be getting some 1m tall potted Christmas trees so she was accepting preorders. I messaged her about getting one, I’d bought one from Wilko two years ago which lasted until this Summer, but I’m trying to support some small local businesses as much as I can. Anyway, she messaged this morning to say she’d had her delivery and was there until 1.30 for collections or by arrangement in the week. Normally John would’ve walked along and collected it on a weekday as he works in the city centre.
It’s for outside by the front door, it won’t be going out with lights on just yet though. It’s on the patio for now.
