Morning all :D

Very wet and miserable

We had a nice long lie in, not long had brekkie. Planning to do as little as possible, roast chicken with veggies for dinner later, raspberry blancmange and jelly for pud. Double delight on the box this evening, Strictly and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, looking forward to seeing how the latter turns out now they've had to relocate to a castle in Wales.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It started out drizzling here, but has brightened up nicely :) Becky is working, Mick's working on the ensuite. We've already been round to see D, and put out her bins. We've had an early lunch of baked lamb chops and veg. I've started binge-watching Life on the iPlayer, the recent BBC drama with Alison Steadman and Peter Davison - so far it's cracking, really good! 8-) :D

Love to all :) xx

I'm going to watch the whole series of Life next weekend Kaz... are their 6 episodes?

Alison Steadman is a brilliant actor. Definitely one of my faves.

Have you not seen it at all Kaz? We loved it, also Us, it’ll be available on catch up. Six eps I think Ally.

Jen is 32 today  Seems no time since - how did that happen? We drove to Gateshead to see her, of course we stood on the doorstep in the rain wearing a face mask... but it was LOVELY to see her on her birthday 8-) Then this aft we had the grandkids over....I’m not sure how “allowed “ it was but was great to see them too, we played connect four and did some writing, so sweet. Just had tea (mince and veg) and now I e got a chilled glass of white wine to watch Celebrity 8-)

Watched it all now Gal, except for the last, saving that for tomorrow. Absolutely brilliant. Becky and I watched Us together and really enjoyed it 8-)

Happy birthday to Jen! Can't believe she is 32, where do the years go????
