Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 16 Nov 2020, 07:13

Good morning.

Warm and sunny again.

A walk shortly then back to pootle and paint my nails.

Working 4 - 9 as I'm on week four of covering for A. Hopefully this will be the last week of doing so.

My resident chef will have dinner ready for me when I get home. :D

Have a great day.

Jo....the grapefruit drizzle cake was a huge success with more than half of it scoffed already.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Thick fog this morning, but once that clears, we're expecting wall to wall sunshine and warmth.

I won't be doing any washing today, not until I get a non-stretchy washing line

So I'm going to get a cushion, sit on my bottom and shuffle around the top drive, weeding. I've salted the big one's that take real digging out, and can't always gets the roots out, but the spready one's are easy at the moment.

Leftovers for dinner.

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody,
Very windy with grey skies but no rain yet.
Had to go in the car to get a paper as our usual shop which is in walking distance was closed.

Just pootling again today. Finding lots of things to do apart from watching TV.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning you three, morning all

Ally, 4 weeks is a long time to be covering, fingers crossed A is back next week
Jan, good luck with the weeding; not easy to be bum shuffling on that gravel :D
Cruiser, it's amazing just how much one can find to do in a home isn't it.

I had a lovely weekend - busy busy Saturday and then Sunday I didn't even get out of my PJ's and just lazed around all day - it was lovely. The weather was dire and the sofa very comfy :D

Well usual work day today with a bit more pootling and sorting things.

Have a lovely day all x

Wonderful Al, I’ve added a couple of extra grapefruit to my Tesco order for Wednesday

Good morning all, it’s quite sunny here.

We walked Bill, I put some washing in the machine when we got back and then tatted around until just before 9 when I walked around to the pharmacy to collect my Mom’s prescription. Queue of 6 already outside before it opened and when I finally got in the prescription wasn’t ready (I ordered it for her last Tuesday) so I said I’d wait outside while it was made up. It’s not a very big shop and they’re allowing four in at a time, plus staff, and it all felt a little too close for comfort. Apparently it’s now three working days to get a prescription made up.
Anyway, back home and got changed and went for a run. Just got back and the washing’s now ready to hang out.

John’s in his little office, I’ve just taken him a cuppa. We’ve got a lovely comfy chair in there so I’ve been going in with my crochet or my Kindle late afternoon. Both lads are in work.

Have a good day all and stay safe :)

Morning all. Bum shuffling and drizzle cake!
Shortly we are off to pay the energy bills, do a little Sainsbury's shop and have a scout for C*******s presents. The atm is going to get a bashing today!
Grey and drizzly here.
Have a good day all.

Only just cleared up, so I'll be heading outside.

Feeling the need of a halo ;) I emptied out the pantry floor and scrubbed it, by hand 8-)
