Afternoon all, it’s a very miserable wet day here now. Two of the gym girls were going for a walk at 10.30 and I had said I might go, but didn’t fancy it when I got up. They probably got the walk done before the rain. I had bedding waiting to be ironed so I did that, and I’m just about to make a batch of soup. Knitting and/or reading this afternoon, and I also need to pop out to get some milk at some stage.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's a chilly overcast day here. D's phone is playing up yet again. I couldn't get through, so walked up there. Mick followed in his lunch hour - looks like something external that BT will have to sort out. At least she has her mobile for emergencies! Bangers and mash for dinner :)

Love to all :) xx

First day of a weeks' holiday for us - we've not gone anywhere (surprise!!) but slotted in a longish walk this morning before T went to stand and pay his respects at a funeral this aft. It's just fab not to have to go to work.....sleeping past the alarm is heaven!! 8-)

To add to my long list of 'things wrong', I think I have a spot of arthritis in my thumb too. It's ok but if I write for a while, or am doing a pincer movement for long, it's so painful. Pushing lenses into frames at work or holding (and turning) a screwdriver is a no-no - have to relay on others for those tasks! Old age!!!

I watched three eps of the Crown while Tom was out, series 4 is so recent it feels more like a documentary than a drama. It's very good though!!

We’re working our way through The Crown, Gal. I hadn’t seen any of the earlier episodes though but I’m enjoying this.

Did you start at Series 1 Jo? I watched the last half of Series 3 on Saturday before this one started - they're all on Netflix 8-)
