Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and another warm day 8-) Not normal at this time of year, not 27C, but making the most of it.

Washing machine on, and I'll have a wander around the garden later, feeding all the plants and admiring what we've done. Now the earth is dry, the big flower beds look very good. Might pick up the odd weed in the smaller beds as I go around.

Dentist at 5.00, no pit stop for a restorative brandy, as that rather unpleasant woman will be there (every day, 5.00pm on the dot, until they close at 10.00pm  ) but we have some at home

Soft food for dinner, prep will be done before we go ;)

We'll be hearing today if our state of emergency will continue, which I think it will, the north of the country is letting us down, badly.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you three, morning all

Ally, have you had confirmation that A will be back next week or can that still change over the weekend?
Cruiser, blue sky and a crisp autumn morning to me is perfect walking weather
Jan, good luck with the dentist this evening and pity about the fact that that woman is there - how many others don't go because of her? Will be interesting to see what your country decides today. We've got another week and a half of the current lock down and listening to the news yesterday it really doesn't seem to be making a difference to infection rates. There was also a comment made about how if we relax the restrictions for Christmas (ie so families can all visit as much as they want) then for every 1 day that's relaxed it'll need 5 days of tight restrictions to make up for it - so 5 days over the Christmas period = all of January lock down. That'll be a tough one for so so many people - January is such a dreary month as it is.

Usual work day for me with a bit of pootling on the side. It's really 'meh' outside; dull and grey and windy and cold. I was woken last night at midnight by one of my cats so went outside to investigate - we had the most amazing star clear night; absolutely amazing - had it been warmer I'd have been tempted to get myself a cuppa and just sit outside for a bit and admire it. I really hoped as a result we'd have a lovely blue sky morning (like you Cruiser) instead woke to dull and grey. I was going to go for a walk with Nadine this morning but it's raining where she is and it's not pleasant walking around a lake in wind and rain so we'll see how the day goes and maybe walk this afternoon instead.

Nothing much else planned this end.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

Enjoy your brunch Ally, sounds lovely xxx

Take care Cruiser xxx

Good luck at the dentist's Jan :) xxx

Ria it's such a tough decision about Christmas, but a January lockdown would be really tough :? Hope the weather let's you and N have your walk xxx

Well it's dry and chilly here! Off to Sainsbury's with D in a while. She insists on doing her own shopping this time, and at least I'm with her to make sure she's ok. She is staying in apart from this though.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here, only just managed to get the bins in before the rain

Saundra since retirement every day's like a weekend, even more so since Covid as we don't even get out to the shops. Without a daily paper we probably wouldn't even remember what day it is

Not doing much today, just a Sainsbury's delivery this afternoon to deal with. Easy dinner tonight, I added an M&S meal deal to my Ocado order so we have chicken in red wine, carrot and swede crush and green beans, yummy.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s a nice bright day here although noticeably cooler. We were out early again bringing Edward to the doc to have the BP monitor removed and have an ECG. All readings were perfect, no issue with anything which was great. When we got back, we decorated a bit for Michael’s birthday - can’t believe he is 11 today, our gorgeous boy. I’ve been to order pizzas for later, my sister will come here, and Miss Osc and SIL will be here for cake time. Just having lunch before I collect Kellie.

With regard to Christmas - our numbers have gone up again in spite of our level 5 restrictions, having dropped very satisfactorily initially, which is really disappointing. It’s hard to know what will happen :(
