I've got a red chrome Morphy Richards toaster now Saundra! :D   My most useful wedding present was for my first wedding in 1977 - a Good Housekeeping cookery book that covered all the basics and took you through right up to dinner party level!! :D  I had no idea how to cook anything but the most basic "meat and two veg" type of food, so it was a godsend!

Hi everyone! It's been a gloomy, wet day here - the sort where it seems dark all day  I took some flowers up to see D - it would have been my father-in-law's birthday today, so I knew she would like some company. Walked home, finished my ironing.

The last of the ensuite delivery from B&Q was due today, so Mick was going to get cracking this weekend (so far he's done some painting and fitted some spotlights) but the vanity unit was missing, and the earliest they can now deliver is the 10th of December  Really cross, but at least he hadn't started pulling out the old fittings yet  :cute:

Love to all xxx
