It's been a very grey and misty day here, We decided to still go for our usual Sunday walk - Durham this time as the seaside would be too hazy....but as usual there were far too many people about and crossing the bridges was a joke - it's always the younger ones who are not considerate and carry on walking over the narrow paths, older folk hang back until you've crossed. Grrrr!! Anyway, I managed just on 11k steps so if you count Fridays mammoth walk I have achieved my steps three days in a row now
Treat was a Jaffa Cake scone and a flat white takeout at Secret Garden cafe....Tracy's scones are honestly the best I've ever had! And she's quite experimental with her flavours.
Trying to work out our Christmas plans.....I wish I knew what to do for the best....
I am considering getting the tree down from the loft! Haven't so far but may well do on Thursday, my next day off. People on our estate have already put outdoor lights up, and some have lit up reindeer and things outside, so pretty. The village lights have also been put on, we have a real tree with lights on in the main street and all the lampposts have lights on them. We're usually late to the party, middle weekend in December but maybe I will bend my rules a bit this time.... I've also had a delivery from Amazon today of a few Christmas pressies so it's begun!!
