Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Wet, very wet :Hi: , windy and not a day for getting up early, so we didn't. Well, I got up, Grumpy is having another coffee in bed.

I have ironing, which is leftover from last week   and then I must rummage in the freezer for something for tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
We have the same weather as Cruiser and Saundra. Low cloud, grey and wet.
Our daughter is here to change a £20 note to pay for Eliza's playgroup. The little terror herself is coming later.
So that's the day for us. We have plenty of Peppa Pig recorded and MrsC will take her to feed the ducks.
It's a golden time isn't it? Two years eight months, just at the stage where she sits on your knee and snuggles up to you; it's lovely.
Our son and his gf are going for a Covid test at Featherstone Rovers ground today. He's been in contact with someone who is showing symptoms so fingers crossed.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here

All our grandchildren are past that stage now Crommers, but the great grandchildren still like a cuddle. We haven't seen them this year this year, so hoping the promised vaccine allows us to see them all sometime next year. Good luck to your son and gf, fingers tightly crossed.

Not a lot happening here today, expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s dull and damp here and was fairly windy earlier. However we headed out for a walk, went around the cliff for a change, and enjoyed it. Ironing awaits  Edward has downloaded the last episode of The Undoing for us to watch this evening and I’m avoiding reading anything about it. I’ve been waking during the night recently with pain in my hip, so we want to figure out if is something to do with the mattress - I really really really do not want to even think about a hip replacement! Last night I slept with a pillow between my knees and although I did wake a bit sore, it was not as bad. Tonight I’m going to sleep in the spare room and see how I get on.

Osc, if you have a spare duvet put that on top of your mattress to cushion your hip a little. I've found it helps.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's dreary and wet here too! I've been out, up to the Co-op then up to D's. Putting my feet up now, for a while, before I start the spaggy bol sauce for tonight.

Crommers, I hope those tests come back negative. Fingers crossed XX

Osc, I believe you can buy special pillows, shaped ones, to support a hip during sleep xxx

Love to all xxx
