Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 05 Dec 2020, 06:54

Good morning.

Just watching a stunning sunrise and it's forecast to be warm and sunny.

Off for a walk shortly. :D

Don and I are going out around 2. We'll stroll to Gambrinus and have a long leisurely lunch which will easily be stretched out to 5.30. The Spanish are very good at lengthy lunches.

I've been watching a fabulous programme on BBC 4 Saturday evenings about a man travelling all through Italy. Tonight is the final episode followed by the final episode of Michael Palin's adventures.
Great world viewing from the comfort of my sofa. With snacks. And chocolate.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny, but cold.

Will get the floor cleaning out of the way this morning, then the day is my own. Will have a wander around the garden, se how the veg are doing and all the other plants and work out where to start the weeding, when the ground is a little drier 8-)

Mitchell might come up for a beer or three this afternoon. We're all being rather reclusive at the moment.

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s pretty miserable here although the sun is peeping through just at the moment after some heavy rain. It’s very windy and cold. We got up a little later and plan to move the bed to clean under it, before showering later. I think I might start on the Christmas cards this afternoon. No doubt we’ll be watching snooker, there were a couple of great matches yesterday.

Would that be Francesco Da Mosto,Ally? I loved that series.

Good morning! A better one here today thank the Lord. Sunny and blue skies.
In a while we will get a paper and go and admire our daughter's Christmas tree, also perhaps babysit the Crofton terror.
Pizza and wine tonight.
Have a good day all. :D

Yes it is Crommers. I love it.

This is episode 4 of 4. It's only because of the 6pm curfew that I caught it as I'd never normally be home on a Saturday night.

I loved the episode when he was in Milan, capital city of fashion, and the police women were wearing high heels along with their uniforms.

Morning! :)

We're in a very sunny, cold a quiet Gloucester Quays! The Christmas Market is on (in a very small and distanced way) and we're having a wander before we go and see D :) We had our SW Zoom meeting. They ARE going back into the hall next week, but B and I are staying virtual. We really don't think it's a good idea - apart from whether or not it's actually against the rules, the school has whole years off self-isolating  :?

Ally I will look for that on the iPlayer 8-) :D Hilarious about the high heels!

Have a good one Jan :)

I plan on finishing my Christmas cards tomorrow Osc ;) Not to post yet, but it gets a job done :? ;)

Morning Crommers :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Afternoon all. Its really cold here.

I was up bright and early this morning at 6.30. After having two weeks off and getting up at 9am at the earliest I realised I needed to get back to normality for work on Monday. So Millie was dragged out of her bed and walked in the dark this morning.

I'm off to my mums shortly as she has a new iphone and wants me to set it up. It's my first venture out of the house for two weeks - I am very excited.

I must get back to Slimming World Kat. Before lockdown I had lost almost 3 stone. The whole lot went back on again since March. Unfortunately our amazing leader left and I didn't like the new one so I stopped going. I did join online but I'm just not sticking to it, using xmas as an excuse (though I have now been using xmas as an excuse for the last 6 weeks). Today I am back on it.
