Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 11 Dec 2020, 07:09

Good morning.

Forecast lovely again. 8-)

Off for a walk. :D

No private classes for me today as both students have exams. I don't need to go in and I still get paid. :D :D

Will nip to Mercadona for some weekend shopping. TV tonight.

I need to wade through all the government guff for me travelling next week....and book a covid test before I return home in January.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, soft rain, almost like we're in a cloud 8-) But it's mild. Set for the day

Gentle start again for me, no cleaning will be done, apart from the bathrooms. Might make a curry for tomorrow.

This afternoon, we're off on a jolly :Hi: :Hi: Not very far, only to our nice new neighbours and they're cooking us a late lunch. we'll take a chilli plant and although we'd take some wine, we're under strict instructions not to do so 8-)

Grumpy is cursing away in the bedroom, he's got a splinter in a finger and can't dig it out. Won't let me near him

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning, it’s pouring down here.

We had a wet walk with Bill, it was fine when we started out (except that it was dark and I forgot my torch) but started to rain at the half way point.

John’s working away in the home office and Joe’s home today. He’s still using up holiday and is only in work next Thursday and the following Monday (although he has college next Wednesday) and then that’s him done until January.

The plan for today is to wrap presents. I wrote the cards yesterday afternoon while watching Die Hard :D

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all.
A bit meh here. Very grey and damp.
We had Eliza again yesterday so today will be a quiet one. We'll get a paper and maybe watch a film. Footie tonight.
Poor Grumpy Jan! Saundra you never said a truer word, trying to plan travel at the moment has to be difficult. Ally, pay but no work is the way to go!
Jo, we sent a lot of cards the other day. Blimey O'Riley, I got a shock when I bought the stamps! :o

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny right now, wonder how long it will last.

Saundra's right Ally, travelling is complicated right now, hope you get all the paperwork sorted.
Jan take it nice and easy, lovely your neighbours are cooking you a late lunch. Poor Grumpy, ouch.
I've started to stock up with stamps Crommers, the rise due in January is quite considerable.

Well it's Friday which means the washing machine's on the go, also need to remake the bed. Quite enough to keep me occupied for the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it is not too bad here today, occasional glimpses of blue sky, but the air is damp and raw. I went for a walk with two of my gym friends, we decided that next week we will push the boat out and go for coffee :D This afternoon I plan to finish the cards, and perhaps wrap the presents for my family in Cork. Almost time for lunch now.

Crommers, I was bracing myself for how much it’d cost when I went to the post office for stamps yesterday...only to find that they didn’t have any

I usually get mine delivered with my Sainsbury's order, haven't been in our post office since March. All I've done is buy one book with each of the last two orders, but I'm betting some people have been out buying multiple books, bit like the loo roll situation
