Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 14 Dec 2020, 08:37

Morning everyone

Whoops, overslept

Dull, mild and wet again. More rain forecast.

Off to Ourique as soon as Grumpy has had his (small) coffee as I have a blood test this morning. A fasting one too, so I'm gagging for water   14 different things to check :?

Pit-atop for coffee on the way back and then we're treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast 8-)

Another not too busy day for me, Grumpy has a chair to sort out, for a friend.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning everyone

What a wet day yesterday and even more wet and stormy overnight, wowzer! Kept me awake a quite a bit of the night so sort of overslept as well :)
Good luck for the bloods Jan, fingers crossed for lots of good results. And then enjoy that cooked breakfast! I have no bread in the house, and I really fancy baked beans on toast with a poached egg - oh well; best get baking I suppose.

A usual work day and general pootling for me. Woke up to a lovely blue sky so I'll try get the outside Christmas lights up today - no way could it be done yesterday. But quite a bit of work to catch up on first as I took Friday off and for the first time since lock down didn't look at emails at all!

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, it’s not too bad out there at the moment and Edward has headed off to play golf. I’ve the cards to finish and some ironing to tackle. I can’t go out until Edward comes back as we are expecting someone to come and look at our bathroom window - there is clouding between the two sheets of glass and it has only been there since July of last year. Our builder and the company who supplied it are supposed to be arranging to meet here, but we’ve heard nothing so far. Mind you, our builder said Monday but he didn’t say which Monday

Morning all :)

Lovely sunshine here 8-)

Good luck with the blood test Jan, fingers tightly crossed for good results. Love the sound of a cooked breakfast, E and I often used to walk down to the harbour to treat ourselves, so looking forward to being able to do it again.
Be careful with the outside lights Ria.
Hope your builder turns up Osc.

Not much happening here, general house stuff and a Tesco delivery this afternoon, oh the excitement

Hope you all have a good day xx

Absolutely chucking it down here now :Hi: I saw it coming and got the washing in, just in time 8-) Grumpy is stuck in the work-shop

Get the results on Thursday, then need to see how quickly I can get in to see my doc, will probably e-mail her, much quicker than going through the receptionists ;)

Well change of plans here - it is absolutely bucketing it down and has been most of the morning. Guess those outside lights are just going to have to wait!

I was looking for lights in the Chinese Ria, but they only had fluffy ones

The clinic where we go for the heart monitors and ecg's have just been in touch and re-arranged Grumpy's appointment to follow mine. Much better :D Three trips to Aljustrel, rather than four.
