That’s so annoying Frank!

Kaz, thank goodness Kate’s okay. Might be worth her posting on a local Facebook page asking for a witness or if anyone has dashcam footage if she hasn’t got it already though seeing as the other driver didn’t stop then the chances are that they’re not insured.

A couple of months ago Joe was leaving the M6 and as he pulled up at the island at the end of the slip road someone quickly squeezed in to change lanes and scraped his bumper. He said the bloke stopped for a moment as though he was going to get out but then sped off (he’d got it on his dashcam). He sent us a photo of the damage when he got to work and John said it wasn’t worth phoning the insurance company and he’d touch it up for him.
Had a better look when he got home and it was just dirt! It wiped clean off and there wasn’t even a scratch so he was very lucky.

Kaz, I hve been thinking about this. It is good news Katie is fine and that the baby was not on board.

However, a car hitting another and doing so much damage it was a write off must have sustained some substantial damage itself and will need repairs.... So, if Katie can give some idea of the colour and the potential make and model, say, Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa, Audi, and if she can remember even part of the number plate - ?K 64 3?? - the cops can put the word out to repairers.

Worth a go.
