Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 18 Dec 2020, 07:15

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 19 degrees.

I'm off for a walk in a moment then back to get my suitcase open and start putting things in it. I have a list.

I will download the gov/uk form and get my Spanish residencia and other notable paperwork to enable me to travel and to ensure I can get back into Spain on 2 January! No more just tipping up at the airport with my passport tucked into my pocket an hour before my flight.

The boys are coming over around 1pm and we're going out for lunch. :D

Not too late a night for me as I'm up at 5am tomorrow.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunny but chilly morning 8-)

Houseworkery stuff for me this morning. Then sometime over the week-end, I'll get the decs out and do what is necessary

Eggs will arrive sometime this morning and we're going to ask Jpse Felipe to climb onto our roof and gt rid of the birds nest in our chimney. Not being daft, like next door, we'll get some-one else to do it. We'll ask him to net it too. Should have been done years ago  Grumpy got rid of a nest last year, but from inside, not quite the same.

As you'll be up and gone before I get up tomorrow Ally, have a good flight and give your dad a hug from me xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s drizzly, grey and breezy.

Me and John walked Bill first thing, only managed to do without the torch for the last 10 minutes. John’s now working in the study (just heard him mention going into the office on Monday, think he’s got a site visit too). Tom’s school broke up yesterday so he’s home, he’s waiting to hear what the arrangements will be for January as his school, being a new one, hasn’t yet got any year groups doing exams (the first intake from two years ago are now in Year 9 so have just chosen their options) so they’ll be fully online. Joe’s on a day’s holiday today too so we’ve got a full house!

Al, enjoy lunch! Have a lovely time with your Dad xx

Jan, I hope you’re not doing too much xx

Have a good day all :)

Nope 8-)

I ignored the en-suite bedroom and the spare room floors  and the rest doesn't take too long.

Brought the decs up, as it's supposed to rain tomorrow, so I can do them then. Just about to make tomorrow's curry and that's it :D

Morning all :)

Dull, but dry here.

Ally safe flight and have a lovely time with your dad.
Good to hear you're taking it easy Jan.

Only a bit of washing today, going to do the bedding on Monday or Tuesday, don't think it will kill us to keep the sheets on the bed for a few more days, I don't intend to be doing the laundry over the Christmas weekend. Need to whizz round with the Dyson and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all.
Safe travels Ally and get your feet up Jan!
A very dark day here, one of those when it never gets properly light.
I have dropped MrsC and her sister up in Wakefield for a shopping trip and will pick them up when summoned.
Also filled the car up with petrol and printed an old photo of her dad's 1956 cricket team off for MrsC to laminate later.
We need to visit the chemist this pm too.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

I've just finished a big pile of ironing, so the kettle's on :D Went to see D earlier, her chest isn't too good, so she's on her "rescue pack" of antibiotics and steroids. Hopefully they will kick in soon. We had a cuppa together, and a mince pie - yum, my first this year 8-)

Ally, safe trip and have a wonderful time with your dad :) :)

Love to all xxx
