The pubs and restaurants being closed has never really made much sense but makes even less now.
The tier 3 areas where the pubs are closed haven’t reduced their Covid cases. In some areas it had increased. So surely that shows that the pubs aren’t really the places that are high risk.
I feel safer in a pub - sat at a table with table service - than I do in a supermarket where people pay no attention to social distancing and are constantly picking thinks up and putting them back again.
And as the highest rate of infection is currently those aged between 10 and 19 that also shows that pubs aren’t really to blame.
