Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 19 Dec 2020, 09:03

Morning everyone

Wet :Hi: :Hi: All day wet :Hi: :Hi:

A late start, no point in getting up and not being able to do anything, so coffee in bed. 8-)

A day of doing not a lot  Reading, watching whatever rubbish is on the tv and contacting a couple of friends about delivering the chair Grumpy repaired. That will wait until tomorrow, when it's not quite so wet :)

Hope Ally has a good journey and we all have as good a day as we can xx

Wet here too Jan but not too bad, we have blue sky.
Good morning all. In a while we will go to the care home MrsC is getting a covid test there - I'm not quite sure why. We will also drop off the laminated copies of photos we printed off earlier this week.
We need a couple of bits from the shop and a paper.
I hope Ally's journey is rapid and stress free.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it looks bright enough out there. Bits and pieces to do today, need to get my list for the next few days into some kind of order and get going. Michael and Kellie will be here later for a few hours, Miss Osc and SIL are going for an early meal with friends. Strictly final tonight, might not get to watch it live as there is an All Ireland GAA football final at 5pm which Michael and perhaps Edward may want to watch - we’ll see. Safe travels to Ally.

Morning all :)

Enjoy doing not a lot Jan :) xx

Best wishes for Mrs C's test Crommers - I guess they want to make sure visitors are free of the virus? xx

Have a nice time with the children Osc, are they very excited about Christmas yet? I do miss having little ones around at this time of year xx

Safe travels Ally! xxx

We're outside Corretto's, well wrapped up, having brunch! No SW meeting for us, we just weighed in and entered our own stats on the SW App. It's just not safe IMO, especially as the school where it's held has had so many cases  :? Off to see D in a while xx

Have a good Saturday everyone :) xxx

Morning all :)

It's been really wet and miserable up till now, but looks like the sun's trying to come out, wonder how long it will last.

A day of not doing a lot sounds a good plan Jan.
Good luck to Mrs.C Crommers, sensible idea to make sure people don't take the virus in when visiting.

We'll be glued to the box tonight Osc, looking forward to the Strictly final, think it's going to be a tight finish. My favourite couple are Janette and HRVY, but I'll be happy for whoever gets it this year. After all the doom and gloom this series has been a wonderful treat.

Good news yesterday afternoon, Canterbury hospital rang to say E's adapted shoe is ready for collection. The orthotics department isn't open at weekends so I'll probably drive over there on Monday.

Not much happening today. Really need to sort the spare bedroom, even after getting all the decorations boxes out in the garage, it's still very untidy. Also need to wrap the pressies for Z and the boys. Not seeing them until 27th, but it would be good to get them done.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all. It’s really quite warm here.

I’m cleaning. I’m back at work on Monday with 3 12 hour days so I’m getting as much done today as possible. I finish on Wednesday though (I’m hoping to get off at 1pm but I’ve a feeling it will be 7.30pm) and then other than going in on 29th for a long shift I’m off until 11th January.

Not sure what I’m doing tomorrow yet - I usually do my voluntary thing on a Sunday but it may not be happening tomorrow but I’m still getting everything done today just in case.
