It will just be the two of us.
We will dress up as if we were gpong out to a posh restaurant. Will have a few drinks as I will not be driving on Boxing day.

Our son DIL & grand-daughter come up from Kent for Christmas but that is a no-no.
Don't know when we will see them again.
Got a new electric blanket as mrs.e says the bed is cold when she gets in at night. It is a good one and hopefully it will keep her happy.

I think we're quite lucky because in the past Christmas has usually been just Karl, Nadine, the kids and I anyway; so it's no different this year. They're my bubble and have been from day 1

Originally we were going to go out to a lovely gastro pub for Christmas Eve dinner but because of restrictions we're having dinner here at mine. Christmas Day will be the usual overindulgence at Karl and Nadine's like it has been all the past years; so no change there

Nadine and I were saying yesterday that in a odd way we are "lucky" because we don't have family to worry about
