Good morning.

Don and I are in competition as we've been sending each other pictures of who has the bluest sky. The only difference is in mine I'm wearing a jumper and in his he's in shorts and t shirts.


Shortly I'm off for a run!! My quarantine is finished and even though we're in tier 4 exercise is allowed.
There's some great very pretty routes here so I'm looking forward to it.

I can also walk to Tesco later too.

It's a huge one so no doubt spending will be a thing.

Good morning Al and all, no running going on here - we’ve had a couple of inches of snow overnight

No plans whatsoever today apart from putting the bin out and hoping that the snow melts!

Damp, grey and not so warm. So a lie-in

Will be taking the decorations down today. I'll leave the cards up for a little longer, as are expecting more. Only had one postal delivery in the last two weeks

It's five years today we moved here, so I'm making a nice dinner. Also making a huge pot of stew for the next couple of days. Definitely stew weather

Good morning all.
We are going for a paper in a mo but have so much food in the house we're OK for another couple of days apart from milk.
Spoke to an old friend on the phone last night. He swore blind he'd never get another dog after his old one died but he has. Apparently it's a pointer cross puppy and it is nuts.
That'll teach him; he can't tire it out!
It is really quiet here today, there's hardly even a dog walker out.

hello all

just back from my shopping trip to Argos and Sainsbury's - what did I say on another post a while back about going shopping when hungry? I obviously never learn and now have a party nibble foods I wasn't planning on buying in the fridge and freezer - oops.

Ally, glad you're able to get out and about now - enjoy the run and the shopping and don't spend too much money

No snow here, just more rain .... I am so beyond sick and tired of rain. The ground is just not getting a chance to dry out and it's just horrid out there.

Morning all

Another night of rain and wind, but it's lovely and sunny now.

Not much planned for today. Expecting a delivery from Tesco this afternoon. Along with the usual stuff, fruit and veggies etc I've ordered a nice pork joint for New Year's day dinner, fingers crossed it turns up.
