When we had our little flurry of Covid within the surgery staff only the ones that had lost their taste and smell tested positive. The rest of us with Covid like symptoms were negative.

Let’s hope it’s just a cold.

That's reassuring Deb as so far my sense of taste is fine! Same with B and M. So fingers crossed! Thanks everyone, our test is at 8am so it's an early start.

Kaz, M had a test on Boxing Day - sniffles, cough, temp. Lyra had a mild dose of tonsillitis on C. eve so no chances to be taken. The quick result was negative and the 48hr one confirmed it - he had caught a cold.

Sometimes a negative can be a positive - fingers crossed for you all. xxx

Thanks Frank, that will more than likely be it, we might well not have bothered but we can't take chances with potentially passing something on to D, being her bubble :o

Yes, fingers still crossed, Kaz. The loss of smell and taste does now seem to be a bit of a "clincher" symptom, as Debih mentioned.

Master O's just got his full 48hr test result back as well and it's negative.
