Saundra I absolutely think you should have it. As Debih says it will protect you and you’re not out and about like I am.

There is a world of difference between someone like you, who is clinically vulnerable and is isolated, and me, who is still working, still mixing, still shopping and luckily does not have any underlying health issues.

The vaccine protects the vaccinated

I am sorry if I confused you with my thoughts xx

Deb on Friday I will also be having the vaccine.

Boss emailed on Saturday saying if we wanted it, to let him know and he’d forward our details to the relevant place. I just had a phone call to invite me over to have it. I have to go to a hub close to our main store, as do the rest of us who said we’d have it.

That’s great news Gal.

Can I ask how you’re getting it though (just being nosey). We were told it was only front line social care and nhs staff as well as the over 80’s and that they were being really strict with it.

Or is your opticians NHS?

We've been told we'll get ours next month.

Grumpy is 73, has copd and maybe heart problems. We're waiting to see the doc about that. I'm 64 and have asthma and Gladys

At the moment, over here, all health bods, doctors, nurses etc are being vaccinated, then we go to the bods in homes, then it's us.

Yes we are NHS and I guess like yourselves we are in regular close contact with people. We do triage all appointments the day before but during frame selection we are close to our clients.

I went to the opticians yesterday and I asked him if he had heard anything about the vaccine and he said I'll get mine when the over 50's get called so no doubt in about a years time.
