Morning Ally.

I like a four cheese pizza - that's mozzarella on all four quarters, none of that brie or gorgonzola stuff.

It is -5 °C (feels Like: -8 °C) at the moment and will stay below 0 °C till 10 am at the earliest.

Just been out to the bins and it is very crusty underfoot.

Everyone, wrap up, stay warm get the heating on full.

Good morning everybody.

A cold and frosty start with some fog. Have seen there have been crashes on the three motorways round Manchester. Glad I don,t have to
drive there now.
Going out shopping soon and then back home just pootling.

Morning you lot, morning all

Ally, we can only dream of 17 degrees here :D Enjoy that pizza, yum. Nothing better than a pizza loaded with cheese
Frank, that's rather nippy - stay warm.
Saundra, hope you get a nice selection of veg
Stay safe out there Cruiser

Hoping for a quiet day work wise because I just am in the mood for one (not that it's ever busy! ) Karl is popping over after work to fill some holes in the walls and prep things for tomorrow when he's coming over to plaster and then once that is done I can paint. Final thing will be skirting boards and then hopefully the kitchen will officially be done. Admittedly I want to change the light fittings and at some point replace the sliding door that leads into the garden but those are all 'nice to have's ' vs needed.

and still dithering about it, but meant to go for my flu jab today at 4pm, but I'm really unsure if I want to do it. As a friend pointed out we're coming to the end of flu season really and I'm worried that if I get it my immune system will be compromised for a few days (whilst the body deals with the vaccination as it should) and then be more at risk of a possible covid infection. I've never had a flu vaccination and equally I've never had the flu. I'll mull it all over some more - ho hum

have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Foggy start, but the sun is trying to come out so another much better day.

Think we've finished with the -2's at night, much warmer last night. Well, if you can call 0C warm   Much better next week :Hi:

Ria, I'd not bother with the flu jab, not now. If you'd had it done in October, different, but can't see the point now.

Cleaning this morning, then doing not a lot. Jose Felipe will be up at some point with the weekly eggs, but as his son in law has the virus, we'll stay inside and leave the eggs outside until tomorrow.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.
Weather much like WM's. The snow from yesterday has all frozen and it is icy underfoot. I heard a couple of cars go down the road crunching the ice earlier, but in the last hour and a half I haven't heard one car go past. The hardy dog walkers are out though! It is also very misty.
We had planned to go to Tesco's again, but I think that's a non-starter.
The fireside and a book today, I think.
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, it’s a grey and misty one here. I don’t think it’s supposed to go above 1°c here today.

We walked Bill first thing, he didn’t get out for a walk yesterday because it rained all day so to say her was excited this morning would be an understatement.

Joe’s just texted me saying that he’s got a delivery coming between 11 and 1. It’s a Man Utd jacket that he ordered directly from them only yesterday evening  I was making an after dinner cuppa when he asked me for the discount code we got with our season tickets. Really impressed with how quickly they’ve got that out to him, I replied to him saying “if only the team were that quick”

Joe’s on his half day today, he’ll be home in time for lunch.

Fingers crossed that Becky gets her result today x

Have a good day all :)

Ria, unless you have any underlying issues, at your age and this end of the flu season not sure I would bother either :? Xxx
