Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 17 Jan 2021, 08:44

Morning everyone

Lovely and sunny this morning, but also rather frosty

Keep losing my internet, so I might just disappear half way through :cute:

Gabi coming up this morning for the car, which is a bit of a bugger, as we were expecting a bit of notice. Had a phone call yesterday afternoon, to say he'll be up last night, but didn't turn up, too late, so is coming this morning. No idea how long he'll have it for.

Will clean the floors this morning and then head outside for more weeding, weed spraying and getting a sun-tan- Yes, it gets that hot in the afternoon  Had to wear a hat yesterday 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. It’s lovely here. Sunny but really cold.

I’ve got an unexpected free day as my usual voluntary thing has been cancelled today. Mick always cooks on a Sunday so other than emptying the bins I have no plans.

I could take Millie out or I could catch up on tv and crochet all day. Decisions decisions.

Good morning everybody.

Still grey clouds about but the sun is trying to come out. tidying up, trying to get rid of papers we no longer need. The shredder is getting a lot of use.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here, we’ll head out for a walk shortly although it doesn’t look too inviting, but we have to make the effort. Nothing else planned, want to keep knitting a baby blanket I am doing as the particular baby is due at the end of the month. There’s snooker on and Man United are playing at 4.30 so that’s Edward occupied ;) I could change the bed but it is Sunday - it’ll do tomorrow :D Cruiser, sorting and shredding is very cleansing!

Morning all :D

Lovely bright sunshine here 8-)

Hope you don't have to wait too long to get the car done Jan.
Braising steak sounds yummy Saundra.

Surprise, surprise, not much happening here. Roast pork for dinner later, chocolate blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Good afternoon everybody.
Blue skies and sun here. Most of the snow has melted now. Sergio is back from the hospital; they found that he had pneumonia and that one of his lungs was in a bad way with fluid in it. They have drained the fluid and given him some strong antibiotics. His ex is there every day and we've said if he needs anything to let us know.
Just me and MrsC for Sunday dinner today, sister in law is at her boyfriends. Kath next door had her covid jab at Sandal rugby club the other day. There was four inches of snow and ice on the ground but she got there!
We have a ton of shredding to do as well, we could have a go this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

The car has gone on it's annual holiday to Ferraguda 8-) Won't be back until Friday.

Any emergency, I've got four friends to ring - so I've been told.

Afternoon everyone :)

We had a lazy start to our day, nipped out too see D, put her bins out, then picked up a newspaper on the way home. Adjust had a late lunch if lamb chops cooked with rosemary and chopped mediterranean veg, and homemade apple crumble 8-) Chilling out now, although I'd like to do my nails some time this afternoon before Dancing on Ice starts at 6 :Hi:

Crommers I'm glad to hear about Sergio getting home, and that he has people keeping an eye on :) xxx

Jan, don't get too sunburnt   xxx

Love to all :) xxx
