Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 19 Jan 2021, 06:20

Good morning.

Cloudy sunshine and forecast 17 degrees.

Two classes this morning then off to meet a friend for coffee and a pitufo.

Classes as usual at 4pm then instead of finishing at 7 I'm covering A's last two classes so will finish at 9.

I've been promised a pasta tray bake for tea which is good cos I'll be starving.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey and not very nice this morning. We've been promised heavy rain, but not until tonight.

So pleased we got a lot of weeding done yesterday, as the rest of the week sounds a bit of a wash out  Not moaning, just saying ;)

Chris will be coming up sometime today with the essentials, beer, water, wine and potatoes   She's also very kindly paying our motorway toll, as it's due this week and we can't get in to pay it.

I have some ironing, might do it today, might leave it until tomorrow.

Stew making today - definitely stew weather.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

It's been raining, but looks to be brightening now.

Up early this morning, I'm driving to Canterbury with E's shoe in the next hour or so. He's coming along for the ride, probably not in the rules, but he won't be getting out of the car so no harm done.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning all.
Raining here; in fact we have been promised 120-150mm of rain between Tuesday-Thursday. Which in old money is four and three quarters to just shy of six inches of rain!
I don't know where it is going to go, everywhere is sodden already.
The car needs some petrol and we'll get a paper. I'm cooking a bolognese this afternoon and I'll try and get in touch with the hospital appointments people this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here, not raining at the moment but it’s forecast  I have a sore back and am feeling a bit sorry for myself. We might take Michael and Kellie for a walk this afternoon if it doesn’t rain. Otherwise, the ironing awaits :|

Jen, safe driving - hope Ed enjoys the little trip out.

Afternoon all, it’s grey and very breezy here after heavy rain overnight. Everywhere is waterlogged and so muddy, and there’s more to come.

Bill’s had his walk, the fair weather walkers were obviously put off by the colour of the sky so for the first time in a long time we didn’t see anyone else.

Our recycling bin has just been emptied, it’s been a month since it was last done due to staff shortages.

My Mom was going for her vaccination today, I’ll give her a call in a bit. Our friend Lee, Tom’s Godfather, has tested positive and has a few symptoms, unfortunately his brother also has it and has been admitted to hospital and is quite poorly.

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon everyone :)

I think we have the tail end of Storm Christophe here but nowhere near what From here has! Stay safe Crommers! Pretty windy here, and lots of rain - no doubt parts of Gloucester will be under flood warnings soon  Despite the weather I put my new hooded duvet coat on, and went up to D's - it was certainly a good buy and bound to get plenty of use here 8-) Becky is on the early shift this week, so got home around the same time as me and is currently trying to give Pepper her eye drops  It's quite a performance! Bangers and mash for dinner :D

Jo, I hope your friend and his brother make a good recovery! {{{{{x}}}}

Stay safe everyone :) xxx

Afternoon all. It’s wet here but not as bad as forecast - we have got lots of flood alerts.

It’s been my long day at work and now I’m just chilling out and contemplating bed!!
