Good Morning Sunday

Postby JanB » 24 Jan 2021, 06:39

Morning everyone

Another wet day, but at least it's mild.

No idea what time the car is coming back. If it's this morning, we'll head into Pingo so Grumpy can lift the beer out of the trolley and we'll stock up on water too. If it's too late, then we'll have to do it later in the week.

So a day of waiting......

But there is footie on

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good late morning.

Sunny and warm.

Went for a bike ride first thing with my German friend. We did just under 30kms and a lot of talking.

Showered now and chilling for the rest of the day.

There's a chicken to be roasted and we have apple crumble for dessert.

DOI (see you later Kaz :D) and Finding Alice. Perfect.

Have a great day.

Good morning everybody.
Most of the snow has gone. Still some on car roofs as the cars have not been moved. It was cold when I went for the paper.
Grey skies but we will miss the snow which is forecast for the Midlands and south.
Just pootling again.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, we woke up to snow, but now it seems to be clearing away. Quite a few people out and about for walks and then popping into the deli next door for hot drinks. We got up late and plan to have an extremely lazy day after our work yesterday. Hopefully there will be no snow tomorrow when I have to drive Edward to hospital for 10.30, it’s not forecast. Right, at least I should have a shower

Morning all. Very cold here, the frost hasn't melted much at all and it is -1c.
Daughter and family are coming down for Sunday dinner, we are having Gammon.
That's it for the day!
Have a good one.

Morning all :D

No snow here, it's dry and quite bright.

Hope you get the car back today Jan.
Tea and toast in bed sounds a good plan Saundra.
Hope the snow clears for your drive to the hospital tomorrow Osc.

Nothing planned, we're having roast chicken for dinner later, strawberry blancmange and blackcurrant jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Looking forward to it Ally ;) xxx

Osc, wishing you a safe drive tomorrow and all the very best to E xxx

We have snow! Opened the curtains at 7.30 onto a winter wonderland :cute: We still drove up to D's to sort out her bins, the roads were ok. Mick took the dogs into the field - Fraggle is keener on snow than Pepper is! It felt like a roast day, so we've had chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, peas and a broccoli and cauliflower cheese! Completely stuffed now   Now watching The Ladykillers film on Film 4 8-) :)

Take care everybody xxx
