Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 28 Jan 2021, 06:32

Good morning.

Another day forecast for 20+ degrees.

Two zoom classes 9 - 11 then I'll go out for a walk.

Zoom again from 4 till 7 then again 7 till 9 to cover Ana's classes.

I made my office look lovely yesterday and topped it off with an Elvis picture and a couple of cat cushions.

My resident chef is making us a chicken biryani for dinner. :D

Have a great day.

Changed the day....blame Zoom and the heat.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Thursday today?

Foggy start, but clouds and sun and warmth forecast, so another bbq later.

I will do the curry for Saturday this morning and this afternoon I have a dental appointment.

Will pop into Pingo afterwards, as they have a lot of stuff at half price, wine and rose bushes. Will buy a couple of roses for us and one for Lucy, who is feeling pretty poorly at the moment. Might cheer her up.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you three..... and everyone.

It's dull and misty and COLD!

I have taken a hint from Ally and am doing an office clear-out today. It is amazing the stuff you collect - read once, put on pile, forget! Then there are the pens, various wristwatches  tubes of this and bottles of that, glasses cases and spare glasses, usb pen drives, CDs, three phones, one a never used landline, headphones. Goodness knows where I get it all from!

A Moroccan dish for tea.

An exciting life.

It’s definitely Thursday today Jan

It’s dry here, we walked Bill around the village rather than the common. It’ll be horrible there, it was bad enough before the snow but now that’s thawed it’ll be even soggier and muddier.

It’s 10 years today since we moved here and 9 years today since we met Bill for the first time!

I was saying to John earlier that I’m really missing the charity shops, I’ve got a pile of donations ready for them.

Had a message off Shannon just after 7, she’s got a job at Quarry Bank Mill near Manchester Airport. It’s a National Trust property and it’s a year long contract covering maternity leave. She starts just before Easter and will, once things start reopening, work on exhibitions and with educational visits. Before then though there’s work to do with setting things up around the site. She’s so excited about it, it’s just what she’s been wanting to do.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all, not too bad a day, mild but the air is damp and rain is forecast for later. Edward is doing fine, still sore obviously but cheerful, and he is currently making some little mince pies. I cut his hair earlier so he looks a bit tidier. I cut it during our first lockdown in the spring and was rather tentative but am more confident now and it got a good trim. I need to clean the bathroom and want to get out for a walk too. I’m half way through a baby blanket - met the granny yesterday and the baby was born last week  so I had better make an effort to finish it.

Groundhog day here too.
Glad E's coming along well Osc.
We are just back from Sainsbury's.
In a while we'll drop MrsC's uncle Jim's shopping off.
Apart from that it is the usual not much.
Grey and very wet here.
Have a good day all.
